Colorations Washable Tempera Paint Set, 6 Colors, Non-Toxic, Vibrant, Kids' Art Supplies

I've been using this brand of paint in my classroom for many years, but I usually order directly from the company. This time I needed the paints for home use, so I ordered through Amazon. Each bottle's cap was sealed well with a plastic shrink band, which ensured no leaking bottles. The excess space in the box was taken up by brown packaging paper, which prevented the bottles from being knocked around. The colors are always vibrant, and it's easy to mix them to create new colors and hues. My toddlers and preschool children are able to squeeze the paint from the bottles with little to no assistance, making it easy for them to be independent in their creativity and with their materials from start to finish. For the few children who have weakened small motor skills, I put out smaller squeeze bottles (condiment bottles purchased from Amazon or restaurant supply store) with various colors, and the children are able to easily use these for their paint needs. I always use the washable option of Colorations paint, and I've NEVER had an issue of this paint staining clothing, tables, floors, hair, skin, etc. My students are exposed to this paint daily in the classroom and often go home with LOTS of paint on their clothing. I even go home often covered in paint-splattered clothes, and as long as I wash my clothing within two days (sometimes not until the third day), the paint has ALWAYS washed out of the clothes. It's easy to clean up the pain spills in the classroom. The children help by starting out with using dry paper towels to clean up the bulk of the mess, then they move on to wet paper towels. Any remaining pain that's there is then cleaned with Clorox Cleaner + Bleach All-Purpose Cleaner. It works perfectly. Even when purchasing other Colorations paint, such as the pearl or glitter colors, I've never experienced any problems with the paint washing out of clothes or being cleaned off of surfaces. I've been buying this product for nearly 15 years now and will continue to do so.

We love all coloration products. They come is lots of colors and are vibrant. Easy to clean off messy kids and the floor. Highly recommend.

My 3 year old daughter loves this paint. What a great purchase. As far as washability: every time she paints with these, I give her a white microfiber washcloth to wipe off her brush in between colors. Right after she's done painting, I soak the washcloth for a few minutes and then wring it out and the paint comes out completely every single time. However, the couple of times that I allowed it to dry, it stained and would not come out. So the key to avoiding a stain is rinsing it out immediately. My daughter got a little red paint on our white door frame and I noticed relatively soon afterwards. It wiped off easily with a damp washcloth. I don't know whether it would have stained if it had taken longer to notice it and wipe it off.

This is the perfect base for your children! I have bought so many times that is how great they are!

Torn between a 3 star and a 5, so I did a 4... I was expecting something different, but I think that is my fault. This is a great deal for the amount of paint, and it certainly works just fine if you know what you want it for. Fingerpainting - perfect. Casual little kid paintings on plain paper - great. But this is not acrylic and it was a little less pigmented than I was hoping. This can be a pro because it makes the paint waaay more washable, but it's difficult for older kids to work up the paint past the immediate sheerness. Know what you want to use it for before buying. If you want to fingerpaint with your littles every weekend, buy this immediately and you'll have a blast. If you want an all-purpose paint for kids older than 7-8, I'd choose something else.

Absolutely.Love these paints compared to other brands. I own my own preschool.And these are the only brand I will use. Take do not get watery Or stinky like other brands that I have purchased in the past. Colors are true to what the website description is.
