I have long adored Louisa May Alcott. This compilation of stories warmed my heart. It was just the balm my heart needed. The simply joys and charity of the characters reminded me of the goodness we must focus on daily regardless of circumstances. You must read this delightful treasure chest of literary gems.

I've wanting to get a copy for myself for awhile and I'm glad that I get it!! I was able to get it in time for December/Christmas time and it was old time stories but I enjoyed them! I recommend buying it!!

It's a quick read. The writing is sweet, old-fashioned as are the way the sentiments are expressed, but it was a pleasant read after Christmas.

Seven short stories. "Kate's Choice" is so good it alone is worth the price of the book.This book would make a nice gift for someone during the Christmas holiday season.

A must own for all Louisa May Alcott fans! This collection of heart warming stories was just perfect to curl up and read this Christmas season! The book itself is absolutely gorgeous as well!
