This was 12 in the "Zeus's Pack" and the last book in this series. Taz is the last solider to be mated he is the new owner of Theo's Bar and Grill when he takes some time off he goes to the next town over. While getting coffee he meets both of his mates. Cameron who is human is struggling with what was done to him by a low-life Hunter Etienne he was tied up and whipped. His other mate is Emrick who is a demon he came to the human realm to hook up Taz tells him that they are mates but demons can only tell by having sex so they do. Cameron has no idea about mates or paranormals. When Emrick's demon mob boss comes after him he will do anything to keep his mates safe. This was a good read these three get to know each other while on the run not only from Emrick's boss but from Etienne who wants Cameron back. When Etienne threatens to our the paranormal community the leaders want him dead. This was a good read and a good series too me. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling.

Wow. A lot of stuff happens in this book! Taz is part of Zeus' pack and the owner of Theo's Pub. As per the norm, the members of Zeus' pack find they have TWO mates, and Taz is no different. Emrick is a demon who acts as a bodyguard for a particularly nasty and ruthless demon businessman. Cameron is a human male with no knowledge of the supernatural world around him, and was horribly abused by a sadist who left him the impression that all gay men are abusive and violent. The abuser is now stalking Cameron and threatening him, leaving him terrified. Naturally, they all meet, and it's Emrick's and Taz's job to not only win over Cameron's trust, but protect him from the abusive Etienne.A lot of things happen in this book. It's filled with all kinds of plot devices, and introduces new threats to the supernatural world. It's sexy with a lot of action and a smooth and flowing plot. If you like Lynn Hagen, this one is sure to please.

Rating: 4 StarsAlthough this book is part of the Zues's Pack series, it is very much related to the Wolves of Desire series. Emrick is the brother to Roxy who was the MC in "Gabriel's Demon", Cameron is the cousin to Jalen who was the MC in "Playing for Keeps". While I don't think it necessary to read either book before this one, I do think it would help give the reader more background information.While I found this book very enjoyable, I found the conflict between Jalen and Cameron to be unresolved. I would have liked some sort of interaction between the two and for them to make up.All in all it was a good book and I recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the Brac Universe.
