Shinko Dual Sport 705 Series Rear Tire (150/70-18TL)

I bought these tires because the bike came with too aggressive knobbys. They are the perfect balance between 85% street and 15% dirt. It was shocking how quickly they were shipped and at my door.

This isn't our first Shinko tire purchase and it won't be the last. They changed a dirt bike into a Cadillac on the freeway (it's a Harley but it had some bad tires on it).

Grip you need for the street with the durability to get some real mileage on them even if ride aggressive. When off road take it easy till you get used to them there’s a little more slip then with a knobby’s on. I hope this helps with your decision. Stay safe out there.

Bought these for a 160cc scooter that I occasionally ride gravel and dirt roads. Had them on for over a year now, do well in rain. The only thing I didn't care for was that it slowed the bike down 5 to 7 miles an hour. It used to do 65 uphill but now itll only do 58 at best.

I got a set of these for my DRZ400SM. While they are not great on or off road, they are quite good on-road and is OK for gravel roads and packed trails. I find that I run on the street only slightly slower that with street sport tires. Off-road, they allow me to run on gravel/dirt roads and trails with 'relative' confidence. They are not good in mud or loose gravel/dirt. For what I need, they work very well, and at a very affordable price.If I need better off-road, I'll get a 18/21 wheel set and full off-road tires.

For the price you can’t beat these Shinko’s. I average around 6000 miles on the rear. I’m not running them bald either. Grip is fine, no road noise.

This tire has been great on my African twin it worked great on a trip from mn to Colorado thru and in the mountains on and off roadIt has Lasted much longer than the Michelin that the bike came with

For what it costs this is a great tire. Good tread on it, handles well for commuting. It is definitely a tricky one to install but after a bit of faffing I was able to get it stable without any balancing beads.Note to buyers: if you find it shudders at high speed, check if it's seated in the right place, it's difficult to get this tire even all around and that creates a hump which makes it unstable.

Came faster than expected. Time will tell if it holds up well or not
