I'm using this mic with my LG V20 and since the phone has a quad DAC inside, this mic gets high power to it. The background noise is very low and the mic is clear and nearly too sensitive. In my audio recording app, i have to put the gain at -20 dB, which is as low as it can go. On my computer from the front ports and LG G4 phone, sound quality is only ok, but connect directly to the motherboard, sound is slightly improved.If you want the best sound, find a source that can provide enough quality power to the mic and you will be impressed.

Disappointing mic for video vlogging. I had some issues with poor audio quality which i think may be due to the need to use the 3.5mm adapter to both of my vlogging cameras, the adapter protrudes out of the rear and i would frequently bump it. I also used it with a gopro which requires two adapters and experienced audio issues there as well. This mic could work with smartphones, however that was not my use. I did like the selection of different lengths wires. I returned the product.

The mic works great for my 11 year old son who is using with LG V20. He said that the quality is great, and that there is no back ground noise or quality issues. Every once in a while, he will hear very faint static, but it is not enough to matter. Typically, he uses for recording you tube videos. This was definitely a good win for me since the price is so great!.

I am an amateur podcaster and videographer and I quickly found I needed a microphone that had great sound. The built in mic on my opine was not sufficient. I made a modest investment in this product after reading the many positive reviews and I am so pleased! This microphone is like having a tiny recording studio. It is so easy to use it literally took me less than five minutes. It also looks and feels like a high quality manufactured device. And the customer service is very responsive too. I recommend this microphone!

My daughter is a singer/musician and this is perfect for her to have. When she's on the go but has an "aha moment" she grabs this and starts singing away.

Had to return product. It did not work with a mixer and laptop setup.

It is a great egg, the shell is thick and shiny. It was even bigger than expected. The only issue (why it is four instead of five stars) was that mine had an indentation in the back, not a break, just the natural shape of the shell; but still a downside. They did a really good, clean job of drilling a hole in the bottom, but the inside had a lot of the liquid part still in it. So, when I opened the box, the smell of rotten egg filled the room, and I do not know a good way of cleaning the rest out of the shell. Despite all the negative feedback I gave, it was still a great purchase, and I would suggest this seller to anyone interested in their products. Also, the shipping was quite speedy and the egg arrived very early. Treeline is selling these eggs for fifteen bucks in their catalogue, which is strange because it was thirty through Treeline's Amazon store.
