Amazing bag for the value ($22 at time of purchase) very well constructed of sturdy canvas - not the flimsy kind but sturdy almost tough like a good quality grocery shopping bag canvas. Zipper is high quality, seams are all tidy and trim is well sewn. I saw one person complained that the zipper has a gap that allows moths to crawl in, I’ve shared pictures of this using a pen. If that bothers you I say modern solutions for modern problems: you can buy a tube of E6000 and seal that seam up, just glue the zipper ends to the canvas. Personally I think the bigger issue is that these bags always need a hole for the hanger to come out of and that hole is way bigger than the zipper holes. Now my real issue is it said it was 54 inches long and it’s actually 50.5 inches. My garment actually doesn’t fit, I’m going to have to rip the bottom seam open and sew some additional canvas on to lengthen it HOWEVER this is still a very high quality item at a very fair price. Actual interior measurements were: 50.5 in tall x 24.75 in wide 2.75 deep and of course it tapers at the bottom so if you’re filling it with a bunch of long garments you will run out of space at the bottom.

These are great for my purpose. I'm using this item to store woolen pants (hanging full length). They are exactly the right length though of course they accommodate things with shoulders and are therefore wider than I need at the top. Product is extremely well made. The zipper is heavy duty, the canvas is very heavy, and care has been taken to keep things as moth proof as possible - the zipper tab for example slides up under a covering, and the place for hangers to come out of the bag is as protected as possible.

Great to store my wool winter coat. Good price when on sale. Well made. Would buy again. Found cedar to fit in slits. Would buy again.

This is nice quality and does the job. It’s just 2 inches shy of the my size XS full length dress that needs protecting for long term storage. I also wish the plastic at the top was some sort of breathable woven mesh, but I knew what I was getting so this was not a disappointment so much as a suggestion for improvement.

Bottom line: Recommend for protecting woolens -Pros: tightly woven cotton fabric breathes, but protects clothing from dust and pests; zipper in front is easy to use, hole for hangers is small, appears to be well constructed, undyed fabric won’t stain clothing, not bulky, no off-gassing or bad odors from plastic or treated fabric, should be easily hand washable, holds 5 women’s medium sweaters. - Cons: none so far. - Use: I added a cedar hanger strip and cedar balls to the bottom of the bag including a disc at the top to better seal off the hanger hole. If you have garments made of wool or are giving a cashmere item as a gift, I highly recommend getting a cotton bag, wool wash, and matching darning wool to help them last.

I like the weight of the bag as well as the zipper pull. The bag feels like more of a canvas, it's thicker material - I'm using it for my winter cashmere coats. the zipper pull feels sturdy. I like the concept of being able to put cedar blocks in the bottom, I just wish they had been included. While I have only put one coat in so far, (it's pretty bulky and long), I think I should be able to get one more in for those wondering how many they can fit in the bag (not sure about two).

Bag seems fantastic and well made, and I guess on a very close reading of the product description, I am to blame for not realizing that the cedar planks are sold separately, but statements like "the bag is fitted with cedar planks" jump out of a VERY long description and are definitely misleading. Guess I'm off to order the planks now, although since one review of them said "don't use these with light-colored clothing" and I was planning to put my wedding dress in this bag after mysterious nibbles in even non-wool clothing started showing up in our home, I may be up a creek.

Even if you bought your coats used, these covers will keep them looking great and protected from dust. They're sturdy and breathable! Don't keep your coats in plastic bags or just on strong hangers; they need protection!
