THE SOLUTION to Secure your rings to your fingers! I ADORE IT! It's INGENIOUS!
Fantastic Products! I♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡THEM! I've been using a different kind of plastic ring guard, with poor results. The ones that have a plastic tube with a single slit in them are HARD. Hard to put on the ring & hard to keep the little plastic tube on once you do. You HAVE TO stretch the little tube a bit to get it on the ring & then, the gap created to put it on to the ring allows the tube to fall off! The tube moves around the back of your finger and when the slit type opening lines up with the shank (the back side of your ring) it FALLS OFF! Along with your ring! Especially if you wash your hands a lot or use hand sanitizer in your work. It's very rigid too, making the ring too tight if your fingers swell up during the day while you're wearing it.This product has 2 types of ring guards. The first is just like An Old Fashioned land-line telephone cord. It's put on your ring by wrapping the cord around the shank of your ring/rings. It doesn't fall off because it's coiled around your ring. It's easier to put on your ring & it stays on. Also, the material it's made of is a softer, less rigid kind of vinyl plastic making it more comfortable to wear. The 2nd kind of ring guard is a flat plastic guard that has 2 grips-one at each end. This is good for keeping an engagement & wedding ring together. It creates a set for you without a trip to the jeweler! It also stops one or both rings from turning around on your finger. And the other good thing about it is that you can separate them at your pleasure! Sometimes, you don't want to wear your engagement ring. If you're working with your hands in something messy, you may not want to risk loosing the stone(s). This is a great tragedy when it happens. I have a friend who was cleaning an apartment for check-out & her diamond fell out of it's setting. She searched everything she remembered touching, but never found it. Her fiancé was away at the time & she knew he would be really unhappy if he found out. He saved a long time to buy it. So she went to the jeweler & bought a CZ (cubic zirconium) of the same size as the diamond & had it set so he wouldn't know. When they went to buy wedding bands just before they got married, she confessed what had happened because she knew the jeweler would know the difference. Unfortunately, the metal used to make Wedding & Engagement rings (usually 14 K to 18 K gold) is soft. You really should take your ring to have it professionally cleaned & have the setting checked every 6 months at a minimum. Every month would be better. But who has time for this? I recommend you have it examined as soon as possible after you wack it on something hard. The prongs of your setting are the only thing holding that stone in place. Most reputable jewelers will clean & examine your ring under a microscope for free if you go when they're not busy with other customers. I recommend you call & make an appointment when someone competent is there to do this for you & also when someone is there to fix it if it's in need of repair. Look for jewelers with GIA or AGS signs in their stores & advertisements. They can only display these logos after having passed rigorous exams & agree to do business with the public according to a strong set of ethical requirements.I also want to comment on ring guards made of metal. The metal they're made from is always gonna be harder than the metal in your ring(s). Over time, they will shave off the gold at the shank of your ring. You can have the shank rebuilt if you notice it's getting thinner. But why pay for more gold when you can use these vinyl ring guards! I'm an advocate of the philosophy of not paying for the same ring twice! Why would you want to when there's so many other things, including other rings ;) to buy? Also, having your rings soldered together might seem like a good idea after you're married. But there will be times you don't want to risk loosing a stone from your engagement ring. So this Darling Little plastic ring guard allows you to separate them whenever you want!I'm also a person who enjoys wearing rings on different fingers & different hands. If you buy a ring with a bigger size, you can choose which finger you wear it on & select the thickness of the cord that will adjust the size of your ring to whichever finger you like! ! And, these ring guards come off easily when YOU want them to!This is a really great solution for securing your rings to your fingers. You should try it. Loosing a ring is the ultimate bummer. It's almost as bad as being told by your Insurance Company that: "Mysterious Disappearance of a Gemstone from it's Setting is Excluded from your policy". So don't forget to have your ring checked regularly by a professional jeweler. It's not a waste of the Jeweler's time or your own. Think of it like a Safety Inspection for your jewelry. Something you wear every day. Here's wishing you many years of enjoyment wearing your rings securely!

Knuckle problem
Product good. Issue my knuckles. Can't use the semi circles or they won't go over knuckles. The spirals work but I can't use a full length as then they won't go over knuckles either. At least the rings don't slide all the way like they did but they still turn to the side. They help. If it weren't for my knuckles they would be great!

Doesn’t snap onto ring
I found these to be difficult to keep under my ring, they kept sliding around as I moved and unfortunately went down the drain as I was washing my hands.

Seems to work fairly well so far ...
I have struggled with rings fitting well all my life -- very thin fingers, especially at the base, but fatter knuckles as I got older so anything that gets over my knuckles slides around below. I have had jeweler installed guards for years but lately they became too uncomfortable. I initially bought a set of slide-on plastic ring guards and they didn't work at all. So I decided to try these loop versions, persuaded by the good reviews. So far, I am pleased. I have only tried the long loops that you fit around the ring band. The set also contains plastic guards with adhesive tapes, but I didn't find those as comfortable. The loops do not slide as much as the other bands I tried (although they do a bit) and the smallest size fit well on the very thin band of my engagement ring. I was also able to loop a larger set on my wedding band, and so far that's holding up well. It's only been a week or so, but feeling optimistic right now.t

Good for ~3 months
I like the assortment of sizes and options- it made fit easy to get the sizer with just the right fit. After a few months of wear, however, the half-circle style ones fall off of the ring more easily and will slide around the ring (like from the inside of the finger to underneath the stone on top of the ring). They also start to discolor after a while from skin oils and other contaminants, even with regular washing. It’s still more affordable to replace these spacers than to get my ring resized, and I have arthritis in my fingers so resizing is a waste anyway. My fingers change shape and size often. So for me, this product is still worthwhile.
