– Sparrow Insulated Water Bottle W/Straw -Metal Water Bottles-500ml&750ml&1L

I have NEVER been someone to cart around a bottle for water. That said, I have found myself getting very thirsty on a walk and really wanting some water. I have plenty of plastic water bottles for my bike, but these aren’t really designed to stuff in a rucksack. So to this little beauty, the offer of two types of tops is excellent. I am still struggling with the notion of not tipping the bottle to drink, it has to stay vertical due to straw draw system. The flip top for the mouth is ingenious, but also a little puzzle to start with…how do I open it? I think both these are just a matter of my lack of experience with this type of bottle. The two biggest draws to this bottle are the wide opening, allowing lemon or ice to be dropped into the main body. The twin wall means the water does stay cold long enough for me to empty it. The size is in that sweet spot, not too big to become cumbersome, not so small to be a few gulps and gone. The neoprene type cover is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. I do wish the straps were detachable or easily clipped onto a rucksack system. All that said….look at the price and consider what you get and actually what you need. I need a leak free bottle to hold enough water to quench my thirst on walks. That is kind of it. All the rest is icing on the top. The stopper top is actually very pretty to look at, though I doubt I will use it unless something thick is in the bottle….I can’t see that, I have a thermos and a soup thermos for thicker stuff. I love it is not plastic, it can be thoroughly cleaned. I wish I had the straw cleaner that other models have, but I did get two straws and they are well made, not flimsy at all. Some things I totally regret buying on Amazon, but not this. Robust, well made and very good value for money.

Great stainless steel water bottle that keeps drinks warm or cold too. We’ve already had a few of these for several years and they’re still in great condition nothing has happened to them! The children just keep changing the colours as they get bored with them. They don’t smell, are really easy to clean and use. Great value for money and highly recommend!

It's been a brilliant purchase. I really like my water really cold and it stays cold in this bottle. I have had no leaks and this is the first bottle that hasn't leaked. Great value for money and easy to carry about in the cover or not. The size is perfect for me. Totally recommend it.

Great colour, pink. Keeps my homemade smoothies cold all day. The neoprene black cover with a strap is very useful if I need to go out with the bottle. I only use the black top with a mouth piece on it & the straw inside the bottle. All would be great except for 3 niggling points! 1- There is a hole at the back of the mouth piece, when you push it down to close it, any residue liquid is expelled from the hole. As I use milk in my smoothies, this isn't great as it goes all over my clothes. I have to remember to blow down the mouth piece before I close it. I can't really understand why it's been made this way? I have 6 different style bottles like this one, none of the others have this issue?? So be aware of this. 2- inside the black top is a recess on either side. I'm finding the smoothie sits in these recesses. When I try to clean the top, nothing fits in there to be able to clean it out. The milk sets in the top during the day. I've tried soaking it for several hour, didn't work. I used the straw brush, didn't work as its the wrong shape, I tried using a pointed implement to scrape it off, didn't work. Finally I decided to try a cotton bud. This worked brilliantly. 3- the straw has a very narrow diameter. This wouldn't be an issue if you only suck up water or juice or milk. Anything thicker, like a smoothie is very much harder to do. I looked to see if I could changer the straw to a wider one that I use in a different bottle. However the design inside the black top means you can not change to a wider one. I do not have hot drinks. I did fill the bottle up overnight to soak using with very hot tap water. 8 hours later the water was still quite hot. The outside of the bottle has a slight textured feel to it, so the bottle will not as easily slip with wet or sweaty The design of the top could do with being altered. If you require to use the straw for cold water or juice, you shouldn't have a problem though. I would recommend this bottle to buy. 2nd bottle:- 1 litre size this time. There has been changes made to the issues I previously mentioned. A strip of plastic now covers the hole at the base of the mouth piece that leaked every time it was closed. This has stopped around 80% of the leaking but when opening & closing the mouth piece, some liquid is still squeezing out. I still blow down the the mouth part connected to the straw & this virtually eliminates leakage. Well, as long as I remember too!! There is no longer any recesses inside the black top. So no more using cotton buds to clean it properly. The straw is still narrow. I have to ensure my smoothies are not too thick otherwise it's very hard to suck up the liquid. With any liquid like water, juice, milk this would not be an issue. This bottle is a bright apple green colour with a textured surface and came with 2 straws, 2 tops & the neoprene bottle holder with an attached strap. I was really pleased to get that as I have very small hands, so holding/carrying the bottle about is difficult if I'm going out. I was pleased that this make can be washed in the dishwasher. 1 small problem, it's too tall. I have a standard full size machine but no where can the bottle be placed that will wash it properly. But then again it's not exactly difficult to hand wash. I've only used this 1 litre bottle for a week, so I may update this info if necessary later on. I would recommend this brand of insulated bottles.

I am so impressed with this bottle! I bought it on a whim as I wanted a bottle with fast delivery, but I am SO fussy about my water bottles. I am really picky about how easy they are to keep clean, and I can’t stand most water bottles for their hidden creases etc. But this one? Perfect. It is a beautiful pastel pink colour, very high quality and comes with really nice extras. The bag in particular is very useful for walks and also very good quality. It is durable and leakproof (has already been dropped onto a concrete pavement 😭 but no paint chipped of!!) It is also a really good size for my smaller hands and feels a good weight. Honestly? I would really recommend this bottle. It’s such a good price too (I bought it on offer). Because I am funny with lids, I haven’t tried the straw lid yet.

best insulated bottle i have ever had. well worth the money. i was really impressed not tried it with hot water yet. but did it with cold and it stayed cold for upto at least 7hours.so highly recommended.also comes with extra straw and 2screw lids& a bottle holder with adjustable strap. easy to use and clean.

Nice, sturdy bottle, it keeps my drinks cold (I haven't tried it hot) it doesn't leak and it's a pretty colour

I'm using the bottle with the staw and it's great. Being the 750 ml version the mouth is larger than other bottles so, though I've not drinking straight from the bottle, I'm sure it's a good experience. One piece of advice: the plastic straw needs to be pushed into the drinking cap. The straw is cut square at one end and at an angle at the other. The square end goes into the cap... it keeps falling out with the slanted end. It's good value for the bottle, two different caps, two straws and a carry case.

Ho acquistato questa borraccia termica Super Sparrow da 750ml per avere sempre acqua fresca a disposizione durante la giornata. Dopo i primi periodi di utilizzo, posso ritenermi pienamente soddisfatto sia per le prestazioni che per la dotazione. Ecco la mia esperienza nel dettaglio. 🎁 UN KIT DI ACCESSORI IMPRESSIONANTE La cosa che mi ha stupito di più (e che giustifica in pieno il prezzo) è ciò che si trova nella scatola. Non arriva solo la borraccia, ma un vero e proprio set completo: Due tappi intercambiabili: Uno "standard" a vite con una comoda maniglia per il trasporto, e uno "sportivo" con beccuccio sollevabile e cannuccia interna (comodissimo per bere mentre si guida o ci si allena senza dover inclinare la testa). Due cannucce: Un dettaglio non da poco, così se ne ha subito una di scorta nel caso la prima si rovini nel tempo. Borsa porta borraccia: Una comodissima sacca/custodia su misura, perfetta per migliorare ulteriormente l'isolamento termico e proteggerla dai graffi quando la si porta in giro o la si appoggia su superfici ruvide. 🧊 ISOLAMENTO TERMICO (Test a freddo) Per il momento l'ho testata esclusivamente con acqua fresca/fredda e il risultato è eccellente. L'isolamento a doppia parete in acciaio inox mantiene la temperatura per molte ore. Il grandissimo vantaggio è che la borraccia non "suda": zero condensa esterna, il che significa che potete buttarla nello zaino senza paura di bagnare documenti o dispositivi elettronici. ☕ TEST A CALDO (Da valutare) Per totale trasparenza, ci tengo a precisare che non ho ancora avuto modo di provarla con bevande calde (tè, tisane o caffè). Viste le ottime prestazioni con il freddo sono fiduciosa, ma mi riprometto di aggiornare questa recensione non appena la testerò in modalità "invernale". 🛡️ MATERIALI E CAPIENZA La qualità costruttiva è palpabile. Il fatto che sia dichiarata priva di BPA, BPS e Ftalati è per me un requisito fondamentale per la salute. Trovo che la capienza da 750ml sia il compromesso perfetto: non è ingombrante e pesante come i modelli da un litro, ma garantisce un'ottima scorta d'acqua. ✅ PRO: Dotazione ricchissima: 2 tappi (normale e con beccuccio), 2 cannucce e borsa protettiva. Eccellente tenuta del freddo per ore. Nessuna condensa esterna, la borsa o lo zaino rimangono asciutti. Materiali sicuri per uso alimentare (BPA e Ftalati free). ❌ CONTRO: Al momento assolutamente nessuno da segnalare. 🎯 CONCLUSIONE Una borraccia solida, affidabile, bella da vedere e con una dotazione di accessori che difficilmente si trova in altri marchi. Fa perfettamente il suo dovere con le bevande fredde. Prodotto promosso a pieni voti, in attesa della prova del nove con le temperature calde!

I now I own 3 Sparrow bottles. All are great. Love the black 'jacket': it keeps the temperature cool/hot for longer and it protects the bottle. Not important but if someone cares: the black logo comes off after a while. Only one little meh: I wish the strap was removable.
