A Superb Alternative to Kash Cups!
Dear Amazon Shopper, For those of you who are tired of chomping through dollar bills every morning to get your caffeine fix, these "OneCup's" are a better-than-passable alternative to standard K-cups. I used to get variety packs of K-cups to keep my morning fix affordable, so I have a fair bit of experience with various flavors of K-Cup. This "breakfast blend" is at least on-par with its more expensive counterparts. In spite of their lesser volume (which doesn't necessarily mean less grounds), these cups produce a mild, flavorful cup of coffee that will take the edge off your morning languor. I while I prefer the Fog-Chaser to really shake off the cognitive sludge, the breakfast blend fulfills its promise of producing a great, mild cup of coffe. This is without question a 5-star buy, but there are a few things to know before you pull the trigger: 1. These work perfectly fine in your Keurig brewer. I threw this one in here just to put you at ease. I've been gassing up my soul with the Fog-Chaser blend long enough that if there were a problem to encounter, I would've hit it by now. Rest assured these will serve you just fine. 2. These are smaller than normal K-cups. This doesn't necessarily mean anything in terms of potency (which I find is at least as strong), but what it does translate to is a bit of empty space in the K-cup chamber, which necessitates a quick wipe-down every now and then. 3. The grounds in these OneCups are contained in a fine mesh. Because the grounds are enmeshed, rather than sealed in plastic, there is some exposure to air. While this results in the pleasant aroma of coffee wafting from the cups, it also suggests that they're liable to suffer from oxidation if you don't use them quickly enough. The manufacturer apparently considered this and sealed the cups in separate bags in blocs of 8, meaning if you drink a cup a day, the oxidative stress on the very last cup wont have existed for more than a week, mitigating any adverse effects on the coffee. With the rate at which I typically burn through OneCups, I have never noticed any degradation in flavor. And that sums it up. There's no reason not to get these if you want a less-costly, potentially superior (depending on your tastes) alternative to standard Kash-Cups. Just keep in mind that this particular blend is milder than most, meaning if you want something that'll really gas up your soul in the morning, you may want to opt for the Fog-Chaser blend. Good luck, my java-drinking friend!

Local & Amazing Coffee
Absolutely wonderful coffee! Please don't change a thing. I LOVE that it comes in the netted pod. The aroma is fantastic & taste is delicious. I was buying another coffee brand until they changed the netted pod to a plastic k-pod & changed the caffeine content from 20 % Kona to 10%. Besides being born & raised in San Francisco your coffee ROCKS! Thank you!

Great coffee, great value
My favorite coffee pods. They brew a delightfully strong cup of coffee with a great flavor to them. Much less watery then so many of the plastic coffee pods with the huge cups and only a tiny bit of coffee inside. These pods are much more like a single serving of coffee wrapped in a coffee filter. Have a monthly subscription for an 80ct box as my wife an I both have at least one cup made with them each morning to start our day.

Darn good coffee!
My wife and I purchased a Keurig machine earlier this summer, and decided the ease and convenience of the K-cups were what we wanted. Finding K-cup coffee at a reasonable price (less than 50 cents per cup) is also what we wanted. We looked around and found SFB off here on Amazon. Breakfast Blend for me and French Roast decaf for my wife, below 40 cents per cup with auto delivery, and we made an order. 2 boxes of coffee arrived a few days later. The smell was awesome! Both of us enjoy the taste. Over the last couple of weeks it was evident that each pod would make a 12 oz cup that tasted just as good as an 8 oz cup. I used to get my caffeine fix from a can of diet soda in the AM. Those days are gone - this does the trick very nicely. As the supplier stated, the pod design is to reduce waste. Even the 10-pod bags the they are packaged in are biodegradable. My only comment (and the reason I don't rate this a 5 stars) is that the top of the K-cup (where the hot water enters) is made of paper and a small amount of separation from the ring it is attached occurs on occasion. This results in a small amount of coffee grounds escaping the pod. Hopefully the manufacturer can do something about this. Otherwise, we both like the coffee and intend to continue the auto delivery.

Good coffee and environmentally responsible
San Francisco Bay Compostable Coffee Pods – Breakfast Blend (80 Ct) are a solid everyday choice. The coffee is adequately strong for a large cup and delivers good, balanced flavor without tasting thin or bitter. It does the job, which is exactly what you want from a morning brew. The real win is the compostable pod material. It’s reassuring to know you’re not piling on unnecessary plastic waste or increasing your carbon footprint just to get your daily coffee fix.

Good flavor and an EXCELLENT alternative to "traditional" K-cups
I am a coffee "aficionado" (read: addict) and I heartily recommend this product. I adore my Keurig - its convenience, the freshness of the cup, and, yeah, convenience are extremely important to me, but I hate how dang WASTEFUL and EXPENSIVE the K-cups are, and all the plastic most companies use when crafting them makes me a bit leery. Enter San Francisco Bay Coffee OneCup for Keurig K-Cup Brewers, Breakfast Blend. Their "coffee tea-bags" ARE a bit stronger in both flavor and body than I had anticipated (vaguely reminiscent of that "burnt Starbucks" aftertaste that I can't stand) but this is easily forgivable as I tend to prefer a "light" roast, and is very easily tolerable - I simply use a bit more milk and sweetener in my cup. There IS a wee bit of dark settlement sometimes left in the bottom of your cup, but hey, all you have to do to avoid that is just don't swirl your cup and you'll be fine. I love that the packaging is not only minimal (read: less annoying to deal with), but much less harmful for the environment AND my body (since certain kinds of plastics tend to leach estrogen compounds: "Most plastic products, from sippy cups to food wraps, can release chemicals that act like the sex hormone estrogen, according to a in Environmental Health Perspective" from the article "Study: Most Plastics Leach Hormone-Like Chemicals" found on the NPR website if you care to look.) So, although I'd prefer a slightly more "delicate" (less "burnt Starbuck-y") flavor, I have to say: great taste + less waste + less plastic + lower price = HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I will definitely be buying more from this company...*especially if they could mimic the strong-but-clean flavors of Gevalia's Light Roast and, well, the strong-but-clean flavors of their Stockholm and Royal Vinter (yes: Vinter, and I brew it a bit on the weaker side b/c that really IS a strong-medium blend/roast) roasts, too...and maybe Folgers Gourmet Selections Classic Roast...yeah...I love my coffee... *Part of all that MAY have been an understated hint to the San Francisco Bay Coffee company...

What happened to the coffee pods?
I have been using these pods for sometime now and have been satisfied; however, the most recent order that I received I have had continuous problems with the pods becoming undone at rim where the covers are glued to the top of the pod. The top cover becomes undone at certain areas and when you are making coffee the coffee grinds spill out into the coffee maker, the countertop and my coffee. Coffee is fine but I’m getting tired of having to clean the coffee maker and using a strainer to remove the coffee grinds from my coffee every time I make myself a cup of coffee.

Good and bad
Each hermetically sealed bag contains 8 pods. It is nice to smell the coffee aroma when the bag is opened -- something that does not happen with regular K-cups. The pod or cup, or whatever it is called, works in Keurig but it is not a K-cup. The bottom is just a filter, so it is lower-cost and less waste. This box of 80 pods came with a clear container (holds about 12) with a lid. This opening the plastic bag and putting them into another container is sort of defeating the convenience of K-cup, though. The filter bottom makes the coffee drip directly into the K-cup holder and dribbles fast, and not through the normal puncture hole in a controlled manner. This causes more splashing, depending on the serving cup/mug size. Another issues is that raising the handle immediately after brewing causes coffee to leak from the top; you need to wait a little for it to drain (much longer than a real K-cup). Yep, it takes longer to drain even though it seems to comes out faster. I forget if I am using this pod or regular K-cup, so I am always making a mess by raising the lever too quickly. This is on Keurig OfficePRO Premier (better than K45 and K65 I had), by the way. The biggest problem is when other drinks are brewed afterwards. Because the whole holder was filled with coffee, the next drink (like tea) has coffee taste. So, the holder has to be rinsed after using this pseudo K-cup. With regular K-cup, the coffee flows through the puncture pin and the holder stays relatively clean. This should not be a problem for those who only drink this coffee. As for the coffee itself, I personally like it. It seems stronger than bold dark roast, but that may be because I am smelling the aroma. The aroma does make it seem more flavorful.
