Nice sound and look, but a little fragile
They look very nice as they match the color of my rosewood bridge closer than the cheap plastic ones that came on my Fender FA-100 accoustic. The sound is good, I don't notice a difference. I don't know much about the nuances of that since I'm a beginner, but I trust my ear. They were a little hard to push in, but maybe that's the point, that they need to be tight. I noticed the plastic ones were a little easier to put in and out. But I like that they fit tight. I wanted to relocate them pushing from inside and a couple of them chipped. But they went back in, chipped and all, and are doing their job holding the strings in place firmly against the saddle. They came in different tones as is probably the nature of the wood. So I arranged them from dark to light and it made it less noticeable. I like them. Five stars minus one for the fragility.

3 stars for now
I feel like it would be a little unfair to rate them at 2 or less stars. The pins I received looked very nice and made of real wood. The color of the wood was fantastic, but about 4 of them were missing the abalone dot, and one of them was severely chipped/damaged so I did not want to put them in my guitar. I have returned them and ordered another set of the Ebony pins from Blisstime and they are perfect, just like the first set of ebony ones I had ordered.

Good bridge pins
I used these on a Jasmine S34C guitar as part of some upgrades (strings, bone nut & saddle, and the pins). I believe they are an improvement over the plastic ones that were original equipment on the guitar. These are wood - other reviews said they were plastic (maybe received incorrect ones). I did have to sand the pins down. I measured the plastic pins and the rosewood pins, and the rosewood pins were about 1mm too big. Bridge pins should not be forced in...just snug. The sanding of the pins didn't take a bunch of time....just sat and listened to some music while I worked on them. Just be a bit patient and just keep working on them until they fit correctly. I am sure every guitar has different size pins, but these were close for my guitar. They did help the sound of my guitar a bit, and have been holding the strings well. After a day or two of everything settling down (new strings, etc), my guitar has been staying pretty close to in tune, so the pins are holding everything steady. The abalone dot is ok...not super bright, but not a huge deal for me. The color of the pins was matched well. My main goal was more of getting rid of the plastic within the sound path.I will probably upgrade my Yamaha APX with these as well next time I change strings. Probably will help the sound a bit on that guitar as well.

A nice cosmetic improvment, with some conditions
I will install these pegs on a black Composite Acoustic carbon fiber guitar that I love, but is a little bland looking. The abalone insert and the very nice and variable rosewood pins will be a nice addition to the guitar's appearance. The downside, as several reviewers have mentioned, is that the pins are not standard size and will likely have to be sanded down considerably for your instrument. That seems like an unnecessary flaw in an otherwise decent product. Some reviewers claim their pins are plastic. Rosewood can look and feel like plastic, but at least mine are definitely rosewood or a wood that sure works like rosewood.

Decent Value, Though Abalone Isn't Very Crisp
Pins arrived on time, well packaged and in good condition. The pins slipped right in and held securely. They seem much redder in color than my computer screen picked up. Was hoping they would blend in with the rosewood bridge on my Yamaha FG 850 but that rosewood turned out to be much darker. Luckily, they seem to match the mahogany wood of the rest of my guitar so I kept them. Would of probably returned them if that wasn't the case. The abalone dot is a bit faded and is no where near as crisp looking as the inlay around the soundhole of my guitar. Still, for the price these are a great addition to an acoustic guitar. I'll continue to be a happy customer of Blisstime but will ask for more detail before buying anything with very specific details from now on.

Too Small for Modern Martin Bridge
I bought these to add a personal touch to a Martin GPC-X2E. Sadly they were too small and simply fell out of the bridge when installed. Of course I waited to install them until I changed the (long-life) strings, so by that time I couldn't return them. They look nice, but the description specifically states they fit Martin. Either I got an out-of-spec set, or the description is wrong.Note that it makes complete sense that they wouldn't fit "Martin, Taylor, and Others" at the same time... The bridge pins between guitar brands are not universally interchangeable. So... if you plan on purchasing these, you might want to put a micrometer on your existing pins and see what size you have. Or try to install them right away so you can return them if they don't fit.

There is no "brass skirt" around the abalone inlay
At this price point, I'm obviously not looking for these pins to significantly improve tone or anything, but I AM expected the product to look the same as is shown in the pictures and description. The listing photos certainly show a brass ring around the abalone inlay. The description also clearly states "With abalone dot and brass circle skirt... Made of rosewood with abalone dot and brass circle on the head, so that is what I was expecting to receive. As you can see from the photo I uploaded, there is definitely no brass around the abalone. The pins are real wood of nice color and uniformly made, and the abalone is bright and colorful, so to avoid the delay and inconvenience of returning and exchanging these for another product I will just keep them, but I wish the product matched the description and photos.

Problems with sizing and color variation
It's nice that these are made from rosewood, however the coloring varies as does the actual size of the pegs. I can't rate this higher than 3 stars due to those deficiencies. If I had to get another set of bridge pins, I'd select a different manufacturer. I can use these, but due to one pin sticking up higher than the others (due to a sizing issue), it makes my guitar look cheap. The color variation is not that big a deal, but the sizing really is.

Were too thick for my Washburn Rover
These were way to thick for my Washburn Rover. I would have had to have knocked them in and wouldn’t been able to remove them. They are good quality and look v nice. I have another acoustic so I’m gonna hang on to them. I’ve ordered a set of plastic pegs which I hope will do the job as I only need 1 to replace a broken peg. If this option also causes a problem. I may have to drill out the holes if this is specific to this guitar.

Jazz
I used the rosewood bridge pins on my Yamaha fxg720sca to complement the rosewood fingerboard & bridge and the ebony on my sigma d41 to complement the ebony fingerboard & bridge. The volume in tone and sound is a great investment and it is just what I was looking for. Thanks Gary

Try them
My 9 year old Martin DC Aura has never sounded better. Have used tusk, bone and most recently buffalo horn.It seems to bring out the wood sound from the Rosewood body. Love them. Would highly recommend..
