Excellent motor is a big upgrade for my existing blinds
I upgraded my sheer blinds with these motors. The 433 Hz RF is better than the old Somfy RTS protocol in both distance (100’ vs 15’) and being able to control automations through the Neo Smartblinds controller. The 24v motor with rechargeable batteries is much better than the 12v AA batteries in the existing blinds. Recharging is done easily with the plug in port, but is only necessary a couple of times a year on the biggest blinds (100x72”) which are used multiple times daily. I could have gone for the 120v option, which has an internal transformer to 24v, but that would have involved permitting and a licensed electrician, also the motor’s wire would not have been is to code for an in-wall install at 120v. The motor reacts immediately and is powerful, lifting my heaviest blinds easily and quickly. It is quiet enough, although a bit louder than the new motors in a Comfortex blind. I must also praise the service team at Rollerhouses. They showed infinite patience in helping me to get various pieces to fit into the tube. *** Update. *** I have subsequently added blackout rollers behind the sheer blinds in the bedroom. The internals of the tubes from Comfortex are all the same. The most cost effective method is to order the blinds with a pull chain only, no motor. Then to change out the motor for a Rollerhouse. The only slight negative is that their motor is slightly louder.

Works, with minor issues
Motor itself works flawlessly with a standard 24V power supply. However, the mounting brackets included have extremely poor tolerances, and the plastic adapter which screws into the motor housing has an incorrect hole pattern which I had to correct with a dremel. Setup was otherwise painless; the included instructions cover all necessary procedures. Motor was able to lift a 65" wide shade with no trouble.

Great powerful roller
Even though weight limit is 12lb, it still supports our 13lb blinds, 14ft x 8 ft tall blinds. Great powerful product. The set up was easy. Thank you!

Was a good product in the past. Not now.
This is the third time I have ordered this shade motor. The first two purchases were as described, allowing me to set end limits as well as an intermediate limit. Not so with this motor. Although literature indicates you can set limits, as received this motor will only raise my shades about 18-20" even after I went through the process of factory resetting the device TWICE. I need a shades motor that will allow full length of travel. I would think the motor itself was defective, except the instructions packaged with this device do not include instructions on how to set the intermediate limit. I believe the motor has been modified even though the Amazon description for it does not indicate a modification. I would not recommend anyone purchase this motor.

The blind goes up and down
We needed a shade in a window that no one can reach. It's about 70" wide and 50" tall. We bought this and attached it to a PVC pipe. I made the blind and we used heavy-duty duct tape to attach the fabric. There were a couple of confusing moments, that other reviewers also had, with a couple of screws missing. We took the screws out of the remote plate like the other reviewer and it worked for us. We had to buy a plug and wire it together. For some reason I thought it came with one. It's mounted and successfully goes up and down every day. Hopefully it'll last a long time. Total cost for a large, automated blind, including fabric was about $150.

Works like it should! Should’ve purchased the roller tube first though.
Before you purchase. Do your research. The instructions are simple and the remote programming programs just like it should. However, definitely make sure you have the right diameter of roller tube for your blinds to match. I would’ve purchased the roller tube first then bought the motor to make sure the diameter matched and the inside notches matched as well.

great DIY kit, even for first-timers
successfully installed kit with a PVC pipe and custom fabric from Joann's. Works great, and I highly recommend the speed of the 24v motor, unless you're really patient and don't care at all about the speed. the instructions could use a bit more clarification on things, but the seller has been great at providing further instructions and recommendations.

Great Customer Service
Exact product and a good price. I did have an issue with one of the pair that I bought, but the company were exceptionally swift and effective in helping resolve. Stuff breaks, and their customer service was second to none.

Installation facile
