This seems too good to be true. I am used to paying approximately $50/ounce. So, does this seem genuine/real?

That's because most beauty/skincare products are way overpriced and rely heavily on marketing and advertising. You'd be surprised at some of the expensive skincare products if you familiarize yourself and read through the ingredients. There are some that do have top of the line ingredients that cost a pretty penny, but there are also many that aren't really that great - at that point, you're paying for the name of the product more than the contents. One example was a well known brand I saw that had a "Hyaluronic Acid serum" with the perfect marketing phrases and words that would make anyone want to have it. As I looked through the ingredients, they were typical ingredients you would find in any serum, like glycerin or propylene glycol. Hyaluronic Acid was the very last thing in the ingredients! So this "Hyaluronic Acid Serum" that promoted all the benefits of HA & how it'll improve your skin, was basically a standard base serum with humectants, an emollient or two, & preservatives .. but they sprinkle in a minimal touch of HA and call it a "HA serum." Kinda misleading I would say.

Anyways, sorry for the essay - but yes, this is a real product. I have made my own with varying densities. The ratio given for the serum/solution in the description is probably the optimal ratio for skin absorption, depending how you use it.

If you want cross-linked HA, that starts becoming more expensive due to the technology, product(s) used, and process of the cross-link in a lab. These are typically in HA dermal fillers.

Question 2

How is this pure hyaluronic acid, but contains glucuronic acid at 43%?

They changed the formulation and now it's half the strength it was.   I had bought it 10 times and suddenly the last lot was watery.   I bought another brand and tested it with same amount of water and HA.   This brand is thin and other brand was thick and just like the old formulation of this brand.  Glucuronic acid is just a component of HA and obviously does not give the same results as 100% HA.   Thanks Pure for my joint pain after using your "new" formulation.   I've permanently switched to another brand.

You answered  776g/mol in one question, and 1.1 million daltons in another. 1g/mol=1 dalton. so which is it?  big difference in numbers.
