It’s what you need. Don’t question it. Just get it.
So I changed positions to a auto claims adjuster. The new role took a while to start then I order this book to get ahead. When it arrived it had all of these other things and I returned it. When I started they said the state exam has all of these other things on it. The book they were supposed to give us was delayed and I brought it again. 2 days later our books for the company came so I returned it again. When you work for a company they crammed everything into four days. As soon as you know you are going into claims get this book to study on your own. No need to be stressed out and all of the topics you perceive to be random and a waste of time are needed to pass the test.

Should be on the desk of EVERY property adjuster and supervisor!
This is a very practical, down-to-earth guidebook for novice claim professionals or those with decades of experience. This is not a blueprint on how to pay less on insurance claims. Author Danny Lee urges adjusters to be "the best of the best" by handling each claim proactively, by treating policyholders as you would like to be treated, and handle the claim as if you were handling it for your mother. One red thread theme that runs throughout the book is not to put the onus on information gathering on the policyholder, but for the adjuster to do it themselves and to be equipped to do so as quickly as possible. Adjusters who think that they are saving time by putting the documentation burden on policyholders end up squabbling with insureds and with contractors. In the long run, Lee firmly believes that taking ownership of the claim will be the best time management approach. Worth the price of the book alone is a checklist of items and equipment that he believes every property adjuster should have with them when visiting a loss. This book will be more relevant for those people who get out in the field versus telephone adjusters, but much of his advice is transcendent in usefulness, regardless of whether you are in inside or outside claim professional. I highly recommend this compact book that is chock-full of practical advice for taking your claims game to the next level!

This book is a great read and goes quickly
This book is a great read and goes quickly.I think the concepts go far beyond insurance adjusting, and will apply to many principles of good customer service and time management. There are many ideas that can be bookmarked and referred to, again and again. But, it is very practical and applicable to the disciple of claims adjustment.I believe the concepts are sound, and Danny does not go into pitfalls of assuming that all techniques work in all places.Danny has national experience to insurance adjustment and team management and knows how to help a national company have a local response -- one tragedy at a time; while not giving away resources that put companies out of business or reward fraud.I hope he will write a further book on the difficulties of managing teams and getting the best service to customers by a team, far spread across the country, or managed in a single space.I highly recommend this book.Darrel

Item was delivered with grease on cover and oil stained pages!!!
The media could not be loaded. This book seems like a great read although this seller seems careless with what they are charging full price for as "new".Buyer beware! All pages are oil stained.

This is an awesome book! I would absolutely suggest this for anybody who wants to become a property claims adjuster. I bought and read most of this book before I started the training for this job and it really helped me to understand what I was getting into. The book is written in a great way and is a great resource for even after you start the job. Very entertaining but yet short and sweet into the point.
