I wear an 8.5 in women's shoes so I ordered the water shoes in 8.5-9.5 women's, and they are too big! I have no doubt these would slip off my feet in the water or wet sand. Need to exhange for the smaller size.

Q: Will these hold up to beach/sand walking? I've purchased some before and the sand shreaded the soles.

i DOUBT IT! THE ONES I PURCHASED DID NOT HOLD UP WELL WITH JUST TWO DAYS (MAYBE 4 HOURS) OF WEAR. INNER SOLE CAME LOOSE AND THE MET520 ALSO SHREDED. I WOULD NOT EVER PURCHASE THESE AGAIN.

Yes. It’s very sufficient for running or walking on rocky surfaces. The material is quite durable underneath.
