Me and my wife bought this for our first trip with our son and used it in the airport, hotel, and car. Everything is machine washable, easy to put away and store.

Thin would only work for a barrier on soft surface
Not my favorite. Very thin. Would work as a barrier on a a soft surface but not on a hard surface. Cute color and design but not Made for comfort. It does fold up really small so it would be good for traveling. Would be easy ro wipe up and clean.

GREAT FOR MY PURPOSES!
As the other reviews mention, this isn't ideal for new crawlers or as an alternative to a picnic blanket. It's extremely thin and light and balls up easily. If you have any of those rip stop shopping bags that fold into a pouch, this is like two layers of that. And I'm not really sure why the frog in the middle is padded for baby? Like, your baby is going to just chill in that foot wide spot? However, it's exactly what I was hoping it would be for my family camping trips. Here's what I like about it: - Perfect for creating a clean play area. We have a plastic car track we take with us and everything just gets filthy camping. We throw this down and put the track on top of this and it creates an awesome area for my eight and two year old to play for hours. - It's tiny and lightweight. I never need to hem and haw over whether to take it. It's like poncho sized! When camping, packability is EVERYTHING. - It's easy to clean. We come home FILTHY. This is machine wash AND dry! I just wash it and toss it back in the camping kit. I don't have to be precious with it. So, for us. It's just right. Yes, if it's windy, it's going to give you some issues. But I have ye tot find anything better suited to our needs and the price is right.
