This garden set is perfect for my three year-old granddaughter. It is so cute. The gloves are small enough to fit her. The shovels are great. The handle is made out of plastic but looks like wood and the book is so adorable. Also the the watering can is not too heavy wind filled up. I would recommend this to my friends and family, and I would buy another one for another child perfect!!! oh and the quality is great.

I got this for my 2.5 year old daughter. I needed to spend a fiar amount of time each morning tending to the garden this spring and wanted her to help and get involved as best she could, but she complained about not havin tools. This kit solved that problem for here nad they are cute and colorful. There are quite weak, but the serve their purpose for kids and its a pretty comprehensive kit. I would recommend this for anyone thinking of a good garden gift for a kid.

my granddaughter is loving her new gardening tools. The color is beautiful. It is good quality. They are durable. She plays with them in the garden, helping her parents as well as the sandbox. She absolutely loves them.

Our kids are quite rough with toys and usually they don't last too long due to being left outside, tossed, stepped on, the works. We had previously purchased the red/blue gardening tools and they have held up even with all the abuse! We now have girls in our family and know that they will enjoy using these fun tools as they play outside in our garden. We love how safe these tools are, there really are no sharp edges on them but they are very sturdy and light. Our boys never used the tote very much but we are thinking the girls will like having a place to keep the tools organized and the gloves. The book is a fun addition to this product, it is a nice and sturdy book that can take quite a bit of abuse and has fun illustrations. I highly recommend this product for anyone who wants the kids to go outside and play in the dirt/sand because they will feel like they are using tools like the adults.

My son is three. I like that these seem impossible to break, but when he smacked my hand with the shovel it hurt. There are good and bad things about the tools being metal. The tool bag is super tough nylon. The watering can does not have a removable lid, but the end piece (where the water comes out) does come off. Thankfully it’s not obvious that a part comes off, so my son does not lose it. The gloves fit him perfectly! The wooden stakes are totally unneeded. I’m likely to pitch them in the trash at the first opportunity (random pointy objects). My son just wants to dig in the dirt; Most aspects of gardening are not of any interest to him. He just wants to scoop dirt and wear gloves like we do. This little gardening set is super cute, and it serves its purpose splendidly! If your kid likes to get dirty outside, then they are likely to get a lot of use out of this product.

Its a good gift for 4 year olds. The tools are well made and not plastic.
