Through no real fault of their own, they are just simply mediocre clips. That being said, they will indeed work on some small things which nothing else will work with. Again, use the right tool for the job. This tool has limited uses, but when you need them, they do the job.

These have a two-prong spring system that can grab a single lead on a 16 pin DIP package without causing a short. Overpriced but I am glad I have them.

I had to give this item one star in order to write a review. However, this item deserves a ZERO! This is real junk. Don’t waste your money! It is cheap and poorly made and quality is nonexistent You cannot solder any wires to the metal of the clips even after preparing the metal surface with a Dremel wheel and using a 40 watt iron. The solder would not adhere to the metal no matter what I tried to do. I knew this was merchandise of inferior quality the minute I opened the package. Nevertheless I thought I’d give it a try, needless to say, my doubts were proven correct. This is cheap and flimsy junk. I am returning this item for a refund and you will too if you actually make the mistake of buying it. Quality went out the window with these clips.

I was hoping these mini clips would have a J hook at the end and not two little wires that came out to clip in. Everything about the order was good and as expected and a no issues with the Vendor. The item just turned out to not be what I wanted, and I found the little wire clips just do not easily grab and hang onto the chip leads and other electronic parts. Again I was hoping the clips would have had a J hook configuration to clip onto the wires and leads of the parts. I am sure others will like these and work for what they want, just not what I was looking for. No worth my time or money to shop them back to the seller for a refund. Was a $13 / $14 gamble on my part. No problem or issue with the seller and would buy other products from the seller.

These work exactly as described, I was able to easily light up smd components with these. These are not heavy duty test clips , they are designed for micro components. I am not sure if this is intended but they fit great on the ends of my muti-meter probes.

To expect that from these deep discount bring your own wire clips isn't fair. But as Hack-mo clippies go, they're pretty good. The jumper wires with the pre-crimped male pin ends jam into the top with a little care. And the grabbers will hold onto 24AWG resistor leads just fine.

Didn't hold cable pin security. Very hard to secure cable.

Very cheap quality. Not easy to use as connecting on the back tends to come loose when opening hooks.
