Convenience Concepts Mission End Table with Shelves, Espresso

EDIT: This table was fantastic, a little small, but would've been perfect. I'm leaving the original review in case it does help someone. This table is fantastic don't get me wrong, looks good, easy to put together, but god forbid you have to return this. I bought two of them, but something happened and I had to return them, no big deal right? They came as separate packages, but I needed to return both of them yet they only gave me one return label so UPS made me tape the packages together. I got my refund all is well, then they have the audacity to charge me again because I didn't return them. Now this is the only way I know how to get their attention because of course their email address "doesn't accept incoming emails". These end tables are great, but if you have an inkling of doubt that you might return them, either buy them in different orders or move right along because so far it has been nothing, but headaches dealing with the sellers. I will gladly change my review to the five stars that it should be when I get my money back, until then... terrible.

The longer I work from home, the more need I have to turn my personal desk space into one that accommodates my work needs on top of my personal/school set up. The latest addition was this end table, which will corral all my work necessities in an easy to access format. The assembly instructions were detailed, everything was clearly labeled, and I appreciate the use of cam locks throughout to ensure that this item will last. Many MDF/particle board products do not use these, and they do not withstand the test of time. All you need is one Phillips head screwdriver and less than an hour later, you're putting it to use. I like this one so much, I'm contemplating replacing my two Ikea nightstands with a similar black/cherry finish with two more of these, as they're so much nicer.

Before I give my review, which I do recommend this table, I'd like to make a point about Convenience Concepts and brands similar to it. As I'm sure you've noticed in your searches, Convenience Concepts makes a lot of furniture. I'm sure you've also noticed that for every single thing they make, there's a slightly lower priced version that looks nearly identical to each item Convenience Concepts sells. Speaking from experience, they may look the same, but they are not. The cheaper brand in almost all cases, uses thinner wood, composite materials, and so forth. I just wanted to give a heads-up and to suggest you don't go any cheaper than Convenience Concepts. My review: -This is a very well built table. It feels substantial and is very sturdy. Actually, it's almost over built based off the use. - The finish is good but I'd err on the side of caution with regard to the types of things you sit on it. It looks like it may scratch fairly easily. - while this is very cheap for an end table, it doesn't look cheap. Simple, but not cheap. - My one single point of contention is that instead of plastic covers for bolt holes, you get stickers. They work well enough and aren't obvious, but I just don't like that considering how they may peel off over time. In sum, for the price this is and the look, this is a very solid table and worth buying. I feel very comfortable recommending it! Cheers!

Very easy to assemble and looks great!

The end table is super cute, sturdy, and great quality, especially for the price. The only downside is the coloring of the bolts. They do include black stickers, in case you don't like the silver/gray coloring being so visible. I used the stickers & don't mind them at all. When it first arrived, I started putting it together and noticed that the top piece had a lot of deep scratches. I called Convenience Concepts that night & left a voicemail, stating my name, phone number and issue. When I called the next morning, they had just heard the voicemail, knew who I was, the lady on the phone was wonderful, and they shipped out a replacement part. I'm so happy with the service I recieved! I will definitely order more from this company!

This is a great table! Well within budget, something simple yet elegant and had it put together in no time. Very easy to assemble, feels quite sturdy (no I didn’t Dwight Schute it—launching it off a high place/dragging it through hell with my “pimp ride” etc.). Very happy.

These tables are beautiful. They are very sturdy and I anticipate they will remain so due to the metal to metal assembly. I ordered the espresso color which is very dark and rich in color. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend these tables for someone looking for clean, classic lines but with a smaller footprint in the room.

Bought for my 7yr olds bedroom to act as a nightstand. All parts arrived undamaged and complete (no missing hardware). Assembly was easy and took me about 25 min to complete. No dings, scratches etc. Wood doesnt feel like cheap particle board but it's not solid wood either. Stand is very sturdy and was the perfect height for our purposes. Picture shows stand next to an 8in mattress on top of an 18" raised platform bedframe. The grey finish matched perfectly with his Storkcraft grey dresser. Knocked one star off because I feel $63 was a little steep...could easily find something just as sturdy etc at one of our local retail stores a bit cheaper (albeit the color probably would not have been a good match to the rest of his furniture). Will update this review at a later time after my child has put the stand through its paces. Edit: forgot to mention that the smell when opening is god awful. Smells like the lacquer was just applied. Have had window open for several hours and smell is still very intense/blanketing my whole upstairs. October 2021 Edit: the table has held up beautifully and is still going strong. It looks as good/feels as good as the day it was assembled. The table has served as a nightstand and has had spills, held drinks and snacks, multiple lamps, served as a "kids workbench" (pretend play as a scientist w slime), and housed anything from shoes to books to gaming equipment and tablets etc. Paint has not chipped or discolored from any use/contact w liquids and slime. No warping etc. Was $63 still steep? Yes. But atleast it's performing/surviving like a champ and I don't regret the purchase.
