BFG

I ordered the book to help my son with his school assignment. Wrong book! Did not need "The set of plays" but the actual novel. Oh well..

The book is an excellent set of plays which can be easily used in the classroom.The copy I received however has obviously been used and the binding is worn and the cover slightly torn. I won't return it as I need it for my students this coming week however this copy should not have been sold as “new”

A set of short plays approved by Roald Dahl himself. I teach drama and they are great and are ideal for grades 4 on up. Little plays that can be used alone or together. Really well done and they work well if you are doing a read aloud of the book in class. Great for use by a classroom teacher. They need very little scenery or props. It's all doable in the classroom or you can make a big deal out of them and produce the plays. Flexible, sweet and chock full of lots of roles, I am so excited to have found these plays.

The BFG (Big Friendly Giant) has been adapted by David Wood for children to enjoy acting out. I found this set of 7 play-lets wonderful. I thought they were even better than The Witches. I would have really enjoyed reading these with the children but a democratic vote went against me! Wonderful even just to read. Beautifully written and again everything you would expect from a Roald Dahl book, and David Woods wonderful adaptation.
