LEGOStar Wars Wookiee Gunship (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

Husband is thrilled... yes... I married a 6'2 child. His nickname is Wookie... so this was a no-brainer. Nothing says Happy Valentine's Day like a LEGO kit for a 44 year old manchild. If I step on one more tiny LEGO part I may be searching Amazon for a pair of forceps to remove said piece from his posterior at a later date. Why oh why do I feed this obsession? Because I am a sado masochist that LOVES to hear a grown man squeal like a little girl. I guess I better stop writing, and go search for a new bookcase... we need a place to put his collection of plastic dust catchers.

This is a sweet set. Loved my myself (29 years old) and all the 7-10 year old kids on Christmas day at the family party. Very functional, and price is in the sweet spot of 10 cents per piece in the set. I only wish it had an actual Chewbacca minifig, and a laser crossbow from Episode 7.My one gripe is the shooting pieces.. the function is awesome, I only wish they had used spears that looked like lasers as the shooters instead of the lego dots, which were impossible to keep track of once they've been shot. They were lost promptly, probably sitting in the bottom of my vacuum somewhere.

It's a collector item to kids but should not be that expensive for #of pieces

Great set that comes with Kanan Jarus mini-figure. It is way more sturdy than the Kylo Ren Command Shuttle Lego. It also has a great look for the Clone Wars\Rebel universe. You may shoot the pet's eye with the rocket launchers, so watch for that..but other that than: Kanan plus well thought out ship is a good deal for your money(good deal for a Lego, anyway).

This was a great build and fun for my grandson to receive as a gift from me when I was traveling and he was not in my home daily with me. I just think it was a little on the small side as far as the other gunships and therefore I found it to be overpriced.

This is a very well constructed and sturdy set. Small for the $69 retail price, but more worthwhile at $59. Plenty of stickers if you dislike them as much as I do. Biggest complaint I have is that placing the wookies in their respective cockpits requires extreme patience (unless you construct the cockpit around them) and a spare 1x6 tile as a placement tool.

Fun set to put together. My 8.5 year old built it in a few hours. My 6.5 tried but after struggling for a couple of days he finally gave it - though he did enjoy it and finish most of it. My only issue was that the colors were a bit full on this set.

Bought it for my son and he enjoys it a lot
