No knack? Put the blueberries in the bowl with the holes. Rinse them and then put that bowl inside the bigger bowl, put the lid on and then store in the fridge.

Q: Does the colander sit above the base so if I defrost meat it is not sitting in its own juices.

Yes but I only use it for fruit

Q: Would a 400g punnet fit in pot?

It does take a punnet off blueberries but I wouldn’t buy one if I were you. The lid is so stiff that I can't get it off! I have to leave it open in the fridge because my hands are not big enough to grip the lid and open it.

Q: Is this product really £42???

I purchased this pot in February this year for £6.99 which it was worth, however I wouldn't pay £42 for it
