A Great Rack!
I needed a rack that would fit in my basement with a low ceiling and didn’t want to break the bank. I seriously considered three others: Best fitness Power Rack, TDS Power Rack & Titan T-2 Short Power Rack. All were in the same price range and very similar. I ultimately settled on Rep fitness for two reasons: the padded lift-offs and the very detailed description. The rack arrives in two heavy packages. I decided to unbox them in my garage and transport the pieces to the basement. The product is packaged exceptionally well: each piece is in a plastic bag and all pieces are isolated with cardboard. There wasn’t a nick or mark anywhere on any piece!Assembling the rack was a breeze. Once all components were in the basement it took about an hour to assemble it by myself. All bolts and nuts are the same size – 11/16” – which makes it easy. I used 2 11/16 socket wrenches – one short & one deep - not the included tools.Completed, the rack is extremely sturdy. There are lots of YouTube videos that describe how to set the safety bars for squats and bench presses which are essential. I am extremely happy with the Rep Fitness Power Rack.

You can't beat the quality for the price!
So I bought this rack because of the low ceilings in my basement. The measurements listed are spot on and this rack fits with about one inch to spare under my heating ducts. It is solid and hasn't shifted at all since I put it together. Speaking of putting it together the directions are pretty skimpy so just keep the picture of the finished rack up on your phone and use it to fill in the blanks. The hardest part was realizing that there were 8 carriage bolts in with the rest of the hex-bolts that need to go into the support posts from the bottom of the base posts. I think from sealed boxes to assembled unit it took me about 60 minutes to assemble by myself. To make it even easier grab an 11/16 or 17mm wrench and ratchet to make the assembly faster. The included tools are kind of a joke. The J-Hooks and safety bars are well made and have withstood all the abuse I've thrown at them the past month. Now since it is made for shorter ceilings I can't really do a good pull-up on it, but I've felt it out and I feel like you should be able to crank some quality ones out as long as your ceilings will allow you. Given my small amount of clearance I've had to settle for an in door frame pull up bar. I saw a 1 star review left by a person who found this rack to be too short to do a full extension pull-up; well no crap, it's made for short ceilings. So don't be an idiot like that guy and buy this rack if you're looking to for full extension pull-ups. It wasn't designed for them. You'll just have to bend your knees and hook your ankles while you hang.

Great rack. It feels very sturdy
Great rack. It feels very sturdy. I like that it has several upgrades over the comparable Titan short rack. The plastic j-cups and the two different size pull-up bars are awesome. This thing is perfect for a basement gym setup. If you are any taller than 5'7" you will hit your head walking out of the rack. But that is sort of implied given the fact that it is only 72" tall with a pull-up bar on the front. The directions a slightly confusing even though the setup is pretty simple. If you rely on the picture vs. the directions themselves then you'll be fine. My only real complaint is that it comes with about 20 hex and 8 carriage bolts. It would have been nice if all of the bolts were carriage bolts. Since the carriage bolts secure themselves, you don't need two wrenches to fasten them. The hex bolts require two wrenches (provided), but it is a pain. That being said, it is a one time inconvenience so I am not going to knock a star off for that. That may sound like a lot of negativity but it's really just nitpicking. Overall it's a great rack for a very fair price. Knowing then what I know now I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this again.

Top notch
Absolutely great for an in home gym. It is short enough to fit comfortably in a basement. I am 5'7 and I don't hit my head on the pull up bar but I do cross my legs and raise my feet off the ground to do pullups. I do this anyhow whenever I do pullups so no big deal. Quality of the frame is top notch. Simple to put together takes about 30 minutes start to finish. 2 people make it super easy to put together. Easy to lift to realign into place after assembling. I have no regrets purchasing this cage for my workout needs. If you are on the fence about this just buy it you won't regret it. Great price, great quality and assembly is a breeze.

Good product. Would buy again.
Easy to assemble. It is short, but if you're looking at a short rack it's probably because you're putting it somewhere it's size is required. We have ours in the basement and chose a short rack because of ceiling height issues. The shortness has its draw Backs but this is a quality unit and comes as advertised. The only cons is that the post holes are only vaguely marked every 5 holes (matte numbers, difficult to see) and that if you're over 5'8" you'll have to duck in and out of the rack. It makes squats awkward for my tall husband but, it's the only rack that would fit where we needed it. Would buy again. Sturdy enough for a 215lb person to hang and do pull ups without needing any counterweight. But still easy to move once assembled should you need to rearrange your space.

Thrilled with this rack
Packing was very good, no issues whatsoever. Arrived a day ahead of schedule. Assembly was a breeze, although ideally you'll use your own tools, but I did try out the provided ones and you "could" do it, it will just be a far less enjoyable experiment. Instructions were limited to an exploded blueprint/parts list but all the pertinent info was there, so completely sufficient in that regard.Ive had just over 300 on the jhooks, dropped 225 during rack pulls kn the safety pins and its been solid as a rock. I'm 6 foot and the height was an adjustment, but i neededa short rack for my basement and its been completely fine with some getting used to. Pull ups are a bit interesting, but ive come to like having to keep my feet out front. All in all, i think this is the best rack in its.price range with a reputable company behind it.
