lifesaver for curious toddlers.
As soon as our toddler started getting into everything, we knew we had to baby-proof the bathroom, and the toilet was our number one concern. This toilet lock has been a game-changer. The installation was a breeze, thanks to the strong adhesive backing. It took less than a minute to get it in place, and it has held up perfectly, even with my toddler's attempts to yank it off.The design is simple and effective. It requires a specific press-and-turn motion to open, which is easy for an adult to do with one hand but is completely baffling to our little one. This has given us great peace of mind, preventing them from throwing things in the toilet or, even worse, playing in the water. It also helps with keeping the toilet lid closed to prevent pinching little fingers. My only minor complaint is that it can be a bit awkward to use for guests who aren't familiar with it, but you can usually show them how it works quickly. For us, the peace of mind it provides far outweighs that small inconvenience. If you have a curious kid, this is a must-have for bathroom safety.

effective, easy to install, many uses
Reasons I thought I might need a toilet lock: -to keep my toddler from falling in headfirst and drowning Reasons I actually need it: -to keep her from flushing random things down the toilet -to keep her from splashing her hands in the water -to keep her from drinking the toilet water -to keep her from falling in headfirst and drowning Do yourself a favor, get these! And don't worry, very quick for an adult to open if the toilet is needed urgently.

Toilet Lock..Baby Proof? 🤷🏽♀️
This toilet baby lock seems durable, great value for your money because you get two, the adhesion is super strong so be sure and correct in placing product. Very easy to use and safe. I’m not sure if this a great locking mechanism because when pushing the button it’s an easy pop off and I know my toddler will get it quickly in using the locking mechanism but this will give allow me time to get to him before his toilet splashes begins.

Effective But With Drawbacks - Probably Didn't Need
Overall Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3 out of 5 stars) Functional Safety Device: The Toilet Locks Baby Proof set certainly does what it's designed to do. It effectively keeps the toilet lid locked, preventing my curious toddler from accessing it. For parents concerned about toilet safety, it provides a straightforward solution. Questioning the Necessity: While the locks work as intended, I can't help but feel that the need for such a device is a bit overemphasized. With proper supervision and by keeping bathroom doors closed, the likelihood of a child getting into the toilet seems quite low. It made me question whether the purchase was driven more by fear than by a genuine necessity. Adhesive Issues: A significant downside is the adhesive quality. When I needed to remove one of the locks, it damaged the toilet seat by ripping off the finish. This damage was frustrating and led to an unexpected cost for repair. A less aggressive adhesive or a different attachment method would be preferable. Installation - Easy but Permanent: The installation process was easy and required no tools, which I appreciated. However, the downside of such a strong adhesive is that once it's on, it's quite permanent. This aspect is worth considering for those who might want a temporary or adjustable solution. Aesthetically Unobtrusive: On a positive note, the white color of the locks blends well with most toilets, making them less noticeable. This aesthetic consideration is a small but appreciated detail. Conclusion: The Toilet Locks Baby Proof set is effective for its intended purpose but comes with some caveats. It's worth weighing the actual need for such a device against the potential for damage and the permanence of installation. While it offers peace of mind for child safety, it may not be an essential item for all families.

These are easy to install, they just stick onto the toilet seat. They work well, and the unlock mechanism was easy enough to explain to my potty trained 4 year old son. They keep his baby sister out of the toilet while not being too difficult to remove.

Works like a charm. My toddler kept opening and closing the toilet and this fit nicely. It’s a little hard to put on at first for measuring it perfectly.and the adhesive is very sticky.
