Does your health matter?
It makes sense when you start thinking healthy...And start by getting rid of aluminum coated non stick pots, pans, including stainless steel non stick coated cookware, electric griddles with non sticking surfaces and replace them with cast iron enameled cookware... yes, it’s a little more expensive but a lot cheaper on the long run. Treat them well, and learn about use and care. Ohh! Too heavy? Yes! Better than slow poisoning myself and my family with food “soaked in non stick/infused with aluminum juices”? Yes! And the food taste delicious!

Sort of heavy
I love enamel coated cast iron. It seems like the most environmentally sound choice to make, especially if you want a non stick surface. My only complaint about this sauce pan is the weight. Fortunately there's an additional handle. Allows you to use both hands to empty the pot. Nice.

Good quality sauce pot
Very nice quality but it is very heavy almost need to hands to pick up if full. Also get your self a insulated cover for the handle cuz it gets hot.Love the color.

Great, but heavy!
Great product, but a person needs very strong wrists to use it, even with a handle. I bought it to make toffee on an induction hob. It does work very well, however in order to pour out the contents I have to rest the bottom on a 2 x4. Way too heavy to hold with one hand and spatula it out with the other. Quality build for sure, will last for many many years. Holds and distributes heat very well. For regular cooking the burned can be turned to a lower level than normal.

These are fantastic and a cooks best friend!
If you enjoy cooking especially with true metal pots and pans you need this in your life. I put off buying an enameled pot due to not enjoying my last enameled pan. However, this is the best pot I own now. Great ascetics and crazy easy to clean. Makes amazing dish for pastas and gravies to go with whatever meat you cook in your cast iron pan.

Changed My Review
I wrote a 5 star review a few months ago but am changing it now after time. Two reasons: This pan is HEAVY. It's too heavy for even a cast iron sauce pan. Secondly, it's not designed well. The handle is way too narrow for you to get a good grip on such a heavy pan. I can barely hold it to empty food into a bowl or serving dish.I don't enjoy using it for those two reasons. The quality of the cast iron and enamel are good, though.
