Nakoma DYE Liquid RIT Indigo, One Size

This was third time lucky for us! Daughter was desperate to dye her build a bear frog as a project and after two failed attempts and lots of research, this one was a success.

This liquid dye is superior to the leading brand. The leading brand has poorer colours now and the powder form always causes issues.

This product was very effective for tiedying a dress which turned out well using the Washing machine method

I bought this version first to dye my synthetic hair, but this bottle did not work...but it did have a small hint of the colour after washing to be fair. So after doing more Youtube research on dying synthetic hair, I later bought the 'Synthetic' version to dye synthetic hair. As Youtubers had shown the great results they got.So I went ahead and bought the Synthetic Rye Dye... done a test strand by boiling hot water and tried it in different ways; on the stove so the temp reached a really hot temp to allow the dye to penetrate and also with hot water poured in a tinting bowl, but the Kanekolon hair which had a base colour of mid light brown (30), did not dye at all. I will just use the bottle if for my faded out Blue clothing instead.

This dyes very well, but you do HAVE to buy and use the' Rit ColorStay Dye Fixative' as well. If you don't doI feel this could be made clearer in the sales description as if you buy the dye on its own and attempt to use it without the fixer you will just have to do it all again, like I'm going to have to.This product dyed four shirts and could have easily done more I think.

Rit dyes work best at high temperatures. I enjoy the deep colours I usually get when strickly following the manufactures instructions. Yet these no longer hold the colour in the garment even when used with the colour stay product.I dyed 1 garment, a croped light weight 100% cotton vest used the entire bottle and achieved a light tint using indigo dye.Unless you want a light tint consider using other dye products. I have returned the other bottle

no good at all - made a big mess, discoloured easily and made my towels very patchy. I remember my old dye from Germany in the 90s which was pure quality and sooo easy to use. I don't know what this is!

I followed the washing method and used a hot wash with plenty of salt. Now I have a funky indigo purple denim shirt and the colour has lasted really well. I love that I've been able to give new life to something I was gonna throw away!
