Nice little compost bin. Much smaller than our previous one (that rusted out), so I was worried it would be inconvenient, but it works just fine. Small, lightweight, carry handle and good lid. Pretty much what you want to hold your kitchen scraps for compost!

Well constructed and sturdy, making it easy to carry out compost to the main compost bin. My only gripe is that it is slightly too deep for standard 3 gallon compost bags, so the edges of the bag tend to fall into the bin. I use the bags to keep the cleaning of the bin to a minimum.

This is the perfect size for composting food scraps from your kitchen without running outside to the compost bin. It fits perfectly under the kitchen sink, and is lightweight so that when you fill it up with food products, it easily carries and empties. At first I didn't think it locked, but all you need to do is pull the handle forward and down over the front and it locks the lid in place. I purchased some compostable bags to go inside to keep it clean, but it's small enough to wash out in the kitchen sink. It has little air holes in the top but does not let any odor out that we've noticed. We use ours every single day and are very pleased. A friend who works in environmental waste tells us that less than 1% of garbage customers compost their food waste. This little bin makes it very easy to compost/recycle food scraps, so the 1% number can easily get higher! Super easy to use and the perfect size to fit in even the smallest kitchens.

I got this to replace a super old one I accidentally threw out. This one seems sturdy, but not like the one pictured. The one that arrived came with a black handle, not a green one.

Easy to use, and a generous size. Large enough for a bouquet of spent flowers, or a few days worth of composting.

Expensive for what it is. But we needed them for a preschool to be compliant. They’ve been durable so far as they are used by 2.5-5 year olds daily.

It does the job. We compost at the local convenience center so I needed to have something to deposit the kitchen food waste into until we made a trip to the dump. It's a plastic bucket that has a handle that locks the lid in place. It was pricey now that I see it's not impressively solid. Price for item received is why I give it four stars.

A very good size for my compost scraps and the color makes it kind of disappear on my counter. I like that the lid can be locked down by the handle. A bit less rugged than I expected but I’m optimistic that it will work for many years. I like it.

This is a pretty good compost bin that fits standard size (under cabinet) compost bags. It's well made, with solid plastic and a good hinge. The locking mechanism isn't the greatest because it's built into the handle and would require you to flip the handle to unlock lock it before being able to lift the lid, but the lid has good enough weight that it stays mostly closed when not using the lock, so it keeps fruit flies to a minimum. I also like that it's a little larger than the oval-style ones provided by our municipality.

This is a great kitchen green bin, it is well made and sturdy. It is easy to clean and the perfect size. I love that the handle locks the lid, it has come in handy many times when I have knocked the bucket over and it has saved the contents from spilling out.

I like the size of this bin. A lot of bins I see on Amazon are quite small. It's a bit flimsier than I was expecting. The lid doesn't lock shut on its own. You have to lift the handle to lock into place which is a little annoying as I know my roommate won't remember to do it so I hope that simply having it closed and not locked will keep in the smell.

Nice sturdy bucket that we line with biodegradable line compost bags. Combined this keeps all odors under control and makes disposal easy. Hard plastic is easy to wash and its size holds a lot of waste but can still be stored under the sink. We are very pleased with it.

Flimsy, holds smells, standard bags dont fit all that well and the lid doesn't properly lock if you hook the bags over the sides.
