Was beautiful when we got it pretty easy to put together but then the legs broke on the one side of the bed and the ones down the middle supporting the mattress. Clearly not enough support for a king size mattress and boxsprings needed. I’m beyond frustrated that I now have to get a whole new bed after having this one for only 2 months. I will NEVER recommend to anyone or buy again.

Easy setup! But the support for the box spring and mattress sucks! My boyfriend sat at the end of the bed and the right rail broke making the whole bed collapse. I had to take out the wood rails and center and purchase a metal frame. Which cost $40 at a local furniture store. So if you’re wondering if a queen metal support frame will fit, it does!

I had been eyeing this bed for a few weeks. Ordered it from a local furniture company for pick up, who then informed me it would be 8 weeks before it would ship! Found it on Amazon for just $20 more, but it would be delivered to my door in 2 days. Arrived promptly in pretty good condition, it's big and heavy and awkward so there were some blemishes to the box. It was packed well inside, so no damage. It took me about 2 hours to get it put together and set up by myself. The instructions are crap, and some of the holes were a bit off, but with some common sense can be done. I've had it for a couple months now and I couldn't be happier!

The reviews about this bed not being supportive and durable is true. However. If you’re going to order it for the actual purpose of making it work then it’s worth the extra time and effort you put into it. We put extra reinforcements and extra support wood slacks as well as the little sticks that you usually only get one in the middle my husband made wooden slats with the support legs all the way across the slat. Total time put in was a few hours but our bed is sturdy enough to hold two adults both over 250. It’s very good quality. But you just have to reinforce the support system and buy ply wood and make some wooden slats as well as laying and drilling a sheet of wood on top of the support slats. I think it’s worth the money and worth the effort. Because it’s truly beautiful and for the price you can’t beat it. I think people who gave a bad review didn’t try to add anything to secure the support system. I mean if we’re being honest the bed should have come with way more support but it doesn’t. So listen up if you want something cheap easy and durable you’re not going to get it unless you put a little effort into this one. Totally worth it though. I’d buy it again

Just bought it. It's a very solid piece of furniture. Easy to assemble. The fabric is very good quality. If I had one complaint it's each side rail is two pieces that are held together with a metal plate rather than one long piece like in the picture. It works well with our adjustable bases. The headboard is very tall (which I like). FYI when you get it delivered all the pieces are inside the headboard, just unzip the backing.To all the bad reviews claiming this isn't a platform bed. A platform bed just means it sits lower to the ground. You still need a box spring or bunkie boards to place your mattress on. So before you buy it, you DO need a box spring!!! Platform beds require them. Lots of unfair reviews due to people's stupidity.

Headboard is very nice looking. The assembly was the issue. Some of the wood for the frames arrived warped. The directions were extremely vague. Luckily, I had someone who was handy and could redrill holes to make the pieces work. If it wasn’t for that I would have been faved with having to repack the entire bed and send back. The one side still is not aligned correctly which is disappointing but we made due with the product. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this product if you are looking for a quick assembly.

This was a much better value buying here rather than from the Ashley store. And it came in just a few days rather than months!! It was packaged very well, everything was inside the headboard. My 20 year old said it was simple for him to put together himself. The vacuum cannot go under the bed which I do not love but it looks very nice in his room. Very cushiony, tall headboard. However, it smelled the whole entire house up for a week after he put it together. Like SO BAD!! I guess it's the glue or something based on my research because it was alarming when I first smelled it in our newly rebuilt home. Surely there is some other kind of glue that could be used to assemble furniture that doesn't smell like that, a cross between something is dead and something is on fire!! I was threatening to drag it to the burn pile for a few days and took a star away because of it(I'm being generous because that week I would have given it 1 star). The smell finally disappeared (after 2 bottles of febreeze, a constant fan and open window)and he loves it. The bed rails that the box spring sits on are very low so I would recommend a full size box spring rather than a low profile one like he bought, and at least a 10 inch mattress. (Check out the 12 inch Vibe!) Over all, a good purchase, aside from that smell.

There is about 7 inches gap between the mattress and the bed. I bought the queen box spring and mattress and it does not fit.
