Best all-around single edged throwing knives
[...] That should clear up why this designer is the best all-around for throwing knives, among other types of blades. For this particular item: The "large" size of this set will be most comfortable for adult males with large hands. Single-edged makes it easier for beginners to do a blade throw (as opposed to grip; buy "Gil Hibben Knife Throwing Guide" if you are just starting up) Three blades makes practice easier by having more throws before having to go retrieve your blades (and don't worry, these knives won't snap in half as easily if they hit another knife on the target) The nylon chord grip makes them a little more confortable were you to use them as conventional knives as well, but these will unravel on the first throw. The sheath is rather inefficient. It takes some stretching to properly fit all 3 knives and even then does not fit them as well as one would think. But at least it stores them together

I would not buy these knives
The first time I gave these knives, a good throw against a pine board at one rotation’s distance all three broke. The the knives stuck in the board, but the tips all broke off on all three. I would not buy these knives.

The handle covering should have been better thought out
These are very high quality throwing knives. These are part of a collection, and as such, I normally don't actually use them, but I couldn't resist giving then a try. I was less than impressed on how well the wound string handle covering held up. True, I'm not a very well accomplished knife thrower, but in my opinion, it goes without saying they will be subjected to a little abuse. The handle covering should have been better thought out.

great knifes
these are really nice. they are heavy which is good. the only bad part is that the string on the knife came off after only 3 throw. How ever they are great and suggest you get them.

Good knives. The cords fall off pretty fast.
The cords fall off pretty fast but the knives are solid. Decent for their intended use.

Good and the Bad
Though these have Hibben's name on them, they are not made well...sorta. The blade is good and well balanced, they throw great. However, the Cord on all three unraveled after only 30 min of throwing. Hard to believe this happened. Not recommenced! I would, if you like these, buy the ones without the cords.

They are a very sharp throwing knife
These Gil hibben throwing knives are very sharp, but the paracord it comes with didnt last a day, it unwrapped easy and one of the knives broke when it hit the other that was already on the tree i use, im very upset that happened i guess the metal its made of isnt really that good, but over all its still a good throwing knife thats why i gave it 3 stars

Real Knives
They are bigger and better than I expected. And the balance is also good. The cords may drop very soon, but it doesn't matter.

Richtig gute Wurfmesse
