Ex-girl color result
Very vibrant and bright! I got the ex-girl color :) I also used the good dye young hair lightener and put this on top to make the color as vibrant I could. I only dyed the bottom of my hair so I used one tube (still some left in the tube) if I was doing my whole head I would’ve had to have used two. Would recommend. When showering it didn’t turn everything red like other pink dyes I’ve tried, pillow case was left white :3

Worth theoney, and much better for your hair and the environment.
Wildly impressed with the results this color continues to give me and how GOOD it makes my hair, feel, smell, and look. Cost per value is great too given the cost of most cosmetics. I can usually get away with a cold wash for two to three weeks then end up going warm wash. Color is not as intense after a month, but fades beautifully and stays colorful in generalontha later. For context, I bleach my hair to balayage, leaving about an inch of dark roots maybe once a year then apply the dark green every 4-5 months. I don't think I can go back to L'Oreal after trying Good Dye Young.

Holds up so well!
This pic is three weeks after application! It's still so vibrant! Just don't use a light colored pillow case or wear white shirts, because everything your hair touches WILL turn pink lol

Going straing back to Overtone - this product is awful
Been dying my hair and my partners hair with Overtone color conditioner for over 3 years. Decided to give this product a try because it's cheaper. Will definitely never buy it again.I have quite a high skill level in dying hair with color conditioners. I bleach my partners black middle eastern hair to blonde and dye his bright blue. My hairdresser bleaches my hair to a perfectly even level 10 blonde and then I color my own hair pink, usually with Overtone. I always get compliments that my hair dye is super even, and the same for my partner too.Despite having quite a high skill level, it was almost impossible to get this product even. It felt like my hair was eating the product, and it was way too thick to spread evenly. It took more than twice the time that it takes with Overtone to get it to what looked even. There just wasn't enough moisture in the product for it to spread properly. I used 2 tubes for my medium length hair. And there are no guidelines anywhere about how much product to buy.In the three and a half years that I've been dying my hair pink, it has never come out such an awful mess as this. The front is florescent pink. There are patches that look pinky orange. The back looks a completely different color to the top. It is patchy all over. There are blonde patches where it didn't take at all. I'm going to need to wash it several times to get the pink to fade, and then start again. I don't recommend this product at all, even if you are reasonably experienced in using color conditioners.

In Hayley We Trust
Kowabunga is literally the best green I've ever used. Very yellow-based, super bright, and extremely full coverage. I mix it with a bit of black to deepen the color to a forest/pine green and it still glows in the sunlight. You can see bits of gold reflect in the sun that looks stunning and I'm always getting compliments on my color. I always have even cor from root to tip with GDY dyes, and my roots are typically resistant to taking semi permanent color after a fresh bleach so it's awesome being able to have even color from the jump.Fade out is on tone for Kowabunga, it doesn't turn blue/teal over time but does become more of a flat grassy green color. It lasts forever though, even when I use clarifying shampoo 2x a month. Scalp staining is almost non-existent and it smells great as well.

Great color but still bleeding dye 2+ weeks later
I used this over two weeks ago and it is still bleeding a LOT. The color even dyed the paint on my fingernails purple. The hair color looks good and I've gotten lots of compliments, but I've never used any product that bleed this much after this much time. I don't love the way my hair feels, but that may be due to over bleaching a bit.Bleach or baking soda work fine to get it out of the tub but this feels excessive.

Did they change the dye?
I’ve been using this dye every few months for a few years with great results. Always the same color. I am a natural dirty blonde with natural highlights, so I never lighten my hair before using it. I had been purchasing at my local walmart, but they stopped carrying it so I made my first Amazon purchase in February, but I also had a tiny bit leftover from a previous Walmart purchase. When I opened the new bottle I first noticed that the color was darker and even checked the color name to make sure it was correct. I then compared it to my older tube and it was several shades darker than the old one. After dyeing my hair, it noticed it didn’t color as well as it did previously, and then it was nearly gone after two weeks, when previously it stayed vibrant for at least two weeks before slowly fading over MONTHS. I thought maybe it was a fluke, but I ordered a new tube a few weeks ago and it has once again, barely taken. And it is fading so fast and is barely there now after two weeks. So disappointed. It looks like I will have to find a new brand.
