Needs better product information
This cable works but I cannot verify that it works at Cat 6 speeds. It is not a bargain. I am pretty sure that it is what is called 'fake' cable (aluminium or copper clad aluminium, CCA) because it is quite light and the wires in the plug have silvery (not 'coppery') ends. Lightness has its advantages but not for my intended purpose (remote CCTV) which required flexibility, robustness and longevity. The route had a remote sharp bend that I thought might break it, and I also wanted power over ethernet, which it provides as delivered but I was unsure about its long-term performance. I have since bought copper cable which though more expensive per metre is more reassuring.I couldn't be bothered sending it back so I have pressed it into use elsewhere where it is more easily replaced, though I found the rigid lugs a bit of a pain when routing. All cable listings on Amazon should state the full specification of the cable, including the composition (100% copper, Al, CCA, CCS) and construction (shielded/unshielded, solid/braided, twists per metre) of the wires. We normally only get a fraction of this, this listing being no exception.

The cable itself seems decent enough , I have used the cable to connect my p.c ( upstairs ) to my router downstairs via two holes drilled leading outside and feeding it through .Receiving full internet speed through it , 200+ Mbps. The exterior packaging was a good size to protect the cable but I was concerned with how it had been packed together . As I was un wrapping the cable I couldn't help but notice that in 4 or 5 different places the cable had been twisted, distorted marking the cable but everything seems to be working fine and it survived being pushed through the drilled holes I made,One of my only issues is with the next day delivery service not arriving until 6 the first night ( missed, work was closed ) and the second day it was gone 5pm which I would of also missed had I not redirected the delivery address.

Avoid - this is aluminium not copper
This cable is copper clad aluminium (CCA), not copper. It proved to be very brittle and unreliable in use.

Works Well for Gigabit Ethernet.
WiFi just did not cut it for data transfers on my LAN. Anything from 25 MB/s to 65 MB/s (rare) and sometimes would not even work at the full speed of my Internet connection (350 Mbps). The cable is giving me full speeds, averaging 110 MB/s (but often exceeding this), dependent on file sizes (the larger the files, the faster the transfers). A cheap Cat5e cable *may* have also managed it but why bother when the cable price is so similar.Internet is always running at the full 350 Mbps now and usually exceeding it (according to the speed test sites). Its probably not the best quality cable out there but it works and is a good price. Not sure if it would go above Gigabit speeds. If my network supported that, I would probably go for a better quality Cat7 cable.

Does what its meant to.
Good value for money. Use it to cover a poor wifi area in the house. I plugged it into the router and went up through the wall and into the attic. Along through the attic and then down through the ceiling into the sewing room and I guess there is about 2 -3 meters spare. Plugged it into laptop and get very good speed now. Very handy for work since working at home in March.

Works as expected
Works as expected. The wings on the head are a nuisance as they make it hard to run down through a hole in the ceiling, but they can be nipped off without issue if clearance is a problem.Used it to connect a couple of Sky multiroom boxes to a switch as they were too far apart for wifi to work consistently. Works perfectly now.

Bargain cable half the price than all the shops on highstreet. On my fault I can find on this is the sledging that it's in (the back plastic it's wrapped in) is very poor quality. It gets very easily ganged up with itselves and looks extremely matted and looks as if it's going to split.Needs better cable housing

Because gaming over wireless is rubbish.
No one wants game lag. No one likes game lag. Neither does anyone want to be sitting on top of their router while they play. With this cable and powerline adapters I can play anywhere I want without losing connection at a vital moment, or finding myself dead due to laaagggg. Cable is king.
