Minus33 Women Ossipee Top
as I indicated before, yes it is very nice tom and material. I hate the promotion to support local manufactures and when I received the item, made in CHINA. Who we supporting ?John Monbulk

Exceeded expectations
I bought this thermal for a trip to Iceland. It is super warm and comfortable. Despite wearing many layers of clothing and doing demanding activities, it remained odor free. I have already washed it several times following the instructions and it maintains its size, color and quality. I don't know if it really is 100% merino wool (because of the affordable price), but I can assure you that it meets all the properties of merino wool.

Bought for one trip to the Alps - Now I wear all the time
I bought this simply because I was going into cold weather in the Swiss Alps and my daughter encouraged me to get this brand as she's used them for a year or two and had been quite pleased with them. I didn't plan on wearing them except when I was in the cold weather part of my vacation. However, I started using them before Switzerland as it was unusually cool in France and the tops I brought were not quite warm enough. This mid-layer top is not bulky at all, extremely comfortable to wear and breathe so nicely that when it did get a little warmer out during the afternoon I didn't feel uncomfortable having on this second layer. I hadn't plan on being able to wear them now that I am back home but I find myself turning to them when I need a little more warmth and I enjoy the coziness of the merino wool. I plan on buying a second top in a different color.I am a 2X and purchased the XXL size which fit true to size.

Absolutely Impressed!
I purchased this Midweight Minus33 XXL top and the matching Minus33 Mindweight XXL bottoms a while ago for to take on a week long elk hunting trip into the great alpine wilderness of Eastern Washington. I knew it was going to be COLD up there and I am not someone that easily stays warm in the elements. Cutting wind, snow, ice, frigid rain... you never know what is happening next. I decided to save my review until after I'd put these to the test.I was looking for 100% wool base layers in something my size and was very pleased to find these, not only in my size, but made for a woman. Bless you, Minus33!! I've spent a lot of very cold, miserable winters wearing other "thermals" that either didn't help at all or made me sweat so much becuase they did not breathe that I was uncomfortable and froze anyway. They seem to be well made, I found no flaws in the initial "once over" nor after I put them on and wore them. I had no issue with the elastic as one person had reviewed. They wore well and laundered nicely... even in a bucket of ice cold stream water, being poked with a stick and hung over the camp stove to dry... if you can call that laundering. Both the top and bottoms came in the mail quickly, and when I tried them on, I was very pleasantly surprised. It was SO nice to put these on and have them fit so well. I am long through the body and tall, and these fit like they were custom cut for me. Stretchy and cozy, I was immediately happy. The crew top was long enough in the hem to fit my long body nicely and the sleeve was long enough that the cuffs actually came down to my wrists. The bottoms were also cut nicely, long enough for my long legs, fit me VERY well all around, perfect through the butt and crotch, waist line high enough to not worry about "cracking out" when I bend over, which has always been the price of having to wear men's thermals (not to mention no "front door" to have to sew shut!). The material did feel just a little bit itchy when I first yanked them out of the package and tried them on, but that went away after a gentle wash and dry.I can honestly say that these Minus33 100% wool, midweight base layers made all the difference in the world this last season. NEVER before have I been actually WARM when out in the elements for any length of time. The 5 mile hike up into camp in a foot of snow would have rendered me a sweaty, wet, frozen mess before but this time I was comfortable and toasty, even when we stopped to rest and cooled down. I had packed polar fleece thermals with me just in case these weren't enough, but those never made it out of the pack. I was so toasty in these, I often just wore them by themselves with a down vest for hiking around in, carrying my heavy outer wear in a back pack to put on over them when I got to where I would be sitting. They really proved their worth in the wet, too. One morning I slipped, lost my footing, and fell into the creek and had to hike back to camp just wearing them, carrying my outerwear and my gear. My boots were soaked but I was also wearing 100% wool socks. I wasn't exactly warm along the way but I wasn't frozen by the time I got to camp. My Dad was an ice fisherman and he always, ALWAYS wore his wool and told me that there was nothing better, especially if you ended up wet. I wish I'd have listened to him years ago, I wouldn't have spent so many winters shivering. These came home in great shape after a week of crawling around in the elements being worn constantly as under wear and as only wear. I literally lived in these things and wouldn't hesitate to buy another set. Thank you, Minus33 for an absolutely outstanding product.

Loved the feel. Had to exchange to get it right, but worth it in the end.
Bought this for a trip to the Arctic. Want this for a warm baselayer. I loved the cream, but I had hoped to wear it alone and it was too sheer for that for me. So strike one, I exchanged for a Navy. Loved the color and feel, BUT it arrived with HOLES in the collar area. I was suspicious when it arrived not inside the plastic like the cream had. This clearly had been attacked by moths or something, and shipped without checking. I returned this one too, strike two. Well the third time is a charm! I now have the charcoal gray. It is super soft and fits well. It will be a base layer but it also could be a super casual lounging around top. It is soft to the touch. I am thrilled with it and it will do the job. Was I happy I had to exchange twice, no, but it was easy to do and luckily I had the time to get it right. For the price I wanted to be sure that this would be a top I would love, wear, and would last. I do feel like the sleeves are a bit long so if your arms are shorter, you might want to go down a size. It is not skin tight fitting, which is what I wanted, but if you do, go down a size as well. I know this will keep me warm!

Keeps you warm and good quality
I have been using it for about a year now on a regular basis, it’s still looking good, washed well and keeps its shape.

Great fabric - better sewing needed
Although I really love this shirt, as other reviewers have noted, the seams are coming apart. Fortunately for me - the hole is at the cuff so doesn't affect the functionality of the shirt. Despite the flaw, I came on here to consider purchasing another - because it's just that comfy and I thought perhaps my seam failure was a one-off. After reading other reviews, it appears to be a chronic issue. I won't pay $80+ for a shirt that seems to have a good likelihood of failing.

thin, not warm
I guess it is good for base layer, you need to keep putting on thick warm layers to keep warm. im working outside in the winter, so it is cold. this layer is a little too thin, but it does seem to keep me dry. Somehow a section of the stitching on one of the sleeve all came out.
