Stainless Steel Tape Measure, 1 Inx30 ft

Had this outlast DeWalt Stanley and every other tape I have ever used and still be readable after months. If your in the field then you know when your measuring to the blade water gets on the tape and soon rust starts making the tape unreadable. I usually throw out after a month or two since the first 8 inches or so are unreadable but this has been great

I am very pleased to write about this one. So often you don't know what to expect and usually get the chinese junk that is built cheep-cheep. This tape measure is solidly built. It has a sturdy stop. The tape itself is much more rigid than any Stanley I've purchased lately, a very nice feature when you're trying to measure by one's self. And the most striking and handy feature that I've never seen before that has already sold me on this, the tape has the measurement printed on both sides! No need for twisting when you're looking at the back side of the object you're measuring. The extra 5 feet over the commonly available tapes is also a plus. (To be honest, I haven't found where it was manufactured on it anywhere, but it is a quality product)I recommend this to anyone, for themselves or as a gift. Especially since it's unique.

Have used the 25’ tape measure for over two years around a salt water dock and it has held up very well. It performs as well as other US name brands but it has not rusted so I will definitely buy again.

Used it for one outdoor project and it already has 2 kinks. It still operates but it does not lay flat and twists. This is unlike all the Stanley Fat Max tape measures I've used. Unlike the Stanley, this tolerates environmental dust and water better. But the tape is thinner and less sturdy than a Stanley. You cannot extend it as far without it dropping. Otherwise it is sufficient.

I bought this tape measure for my husband as a Christmas present and he loves it. Very strong and durable. Our 6 year son(who's destructive by nature) grabbed it before we could stop him and pulled it out/retracted it several times and bounced it and tried to bend it and it didn't break and held up to this torture (which is more than I can say for most things he touches). Very good quality and worth the price.

The tape was bent around the seven inch mark&9" mark . trying to bend it back but to no avail . not worth the hassle to return the item. Do like the stainless steel and markings. But the dam thing is bent .

I was having tile work done about 6 months ago and I noticed my workers using conventional steel tape measures around the wet saw. They commented that they go through a lot of them due to the wet environment. besides the wetness, the tapes are being bent a lot in measurements so they break when they get rusty. I ordered 2 of these Stainless steel tapes for them to try out. I just heard from them that the rulers are performer great and not a bit of rust to be seen! As a result, the tapes should last a very long time.My contractor would recommend these Komelon gripper tapes to anyone.
