Worked for a under the eve location I had to deal with, easy intallation.

Keep the bugs out
I put one on my Florida home and it has worked great for several years, so this year I replaced several more. The sun and sea air destroy plastic in a short time. These seem to hold up. The damper is the reason I switched to these. Wasp can climb in and build a nest and actually get into the house on normal louvered vents. Additionally, these leak significantly less room air when the exhaust is not on.

Easy and well designed. I Recommend it
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Best soffit mount fan vent I’ve installed ever. Pro tip: cut your hole a tad oversized (enough for hose clamp) and attach the flex hose BEFORE you screw the vent to the soffit. Stuff the hose up into attic space then screw the vent into place. Saves a difficult attachment from the inside. The vent has a plenty big flange that’ll cover your oversized hole. That’s what makes this one better than others.

Modification required for 4" aluminum ducting
I am reviewing the under eve exhaust vent. The quality is good, but US 4" aluminum 90 degree ducting does not fit this product. I modified the ducting by making cuts small cuts on the end, then slightly bending the "tabs" in. The tabs fit into the vent, then I used HVAC tape to attach the ducting to the vent.
