Valeo VCL4 4" Padded Weightlifting Lifting Belt with Brushed Tricot Lining and Cam Buckle

My husband has been using this weight belt for several weeks now. He really likes it. He's 6'1", 208, with a 35" midsection. He ordered/returned a single-ply leather belt, which he found uncomfortable when squatting and deadlifting. Then he order the Valeo VCL4 belt and has been very happy with it.He likes that it was inexpensive (~$20); it's very lightweight and can be taken on business travel; the clip and hoop mechanism is very secure, even under a heavy squat; the 4" belt is flexible so it doesn't dig into his abdomen when he squats or deadlift, which was his main complaint about the leather belt; and finally, it's highly adjustable since the clip can be placed anywhere on the strap, as opposed to a leather belt with only 12 eyelet holes.The large belt fits his midsection well, with several inches of overall remaining for growth, if needed. It could also be tightened less than the 34" on the sizing.

Item was wrapped in small package so when I received it I though I did not get the correct item but I did. I tried it on first and it fit well and then showed her how to put on and use.She likes it a lot and has helped to a point with a her back problem. It keeps her stiff. She does not use this for weight lifting or exercise. I got from experience using an old version how it helped me lifting items for a move to another house. It kept my back from aching.I will likely purchase another one within the next 2-3 months and maybe 2 one for me and one for my father. They are high quality belts and I love the latch part to close the belt. It really helps it hold into place and the belt is not moving around.I highly recommend it.

This belt is a must for any serious athlete that wants to lift big but is on a budget. Im 5'8" 190lbs 32" waist and I do a lot of Squat work, Oly lifts and deadlifts and this belt stays nice and tight during heavy sets. I say if you have great form and you want to save a good amount of cash, go for this belt. Also, I would suggest anyone with a 30" or under buy a size small belt. The medium belt is nice and tight but I almost have it maxed out.pros: Stays tight, doesn't ride up,easy adjustable, comfortable, very affordable.cons: Will "clip" the belt clamp if you do hang cleans or hang snatches.

I love this belt. I have always used the old school leather, but no more. This one works just as well, is lighter in my overstuffed gym bag and is a snap to take on and off. Just make sure you thread the belt through the D-ring and then use the D-ring to lock the buckle cam in place. The velcro does not do anything on this belt except keep the loose end from dangling. do not buy the kind where the velcro actually secures the belt, they are crap. This one is great.

This belt is very comfortable and as effective as any leather belt I've used. The sizing was as advertised. Because of the buckle system, this belt can be pulled as tight as you want it to be. The tail of the strap can be put out of the way by the hook and loop ("Velcro") closure arrangement on the belt. Good price, good belt. I have not used the belt enough to know how durable it is. Regardless, I will buy another when and if I need to.

I am an active 73 year old and have had severe lumbosacral problems that the surgeons do not want to fix (yet). I have used one of these belts religiously for the past 10-15 years for physical yard work and exercise (sailing, and especially downhill skiing). Clamped down tightly, it provides an exoskeleton between my lower rib cage and top of my pelvis that keeps the vertebral bodies and facets from sliding around - which causes the excruciating pain.The attachment belt also provides a secure, handy strap to hang your camera case, phone case, Weatherman knife case, etc.My old one still works well, but was getting pretty beat up, so I bought this replacement to look nice when I don't want to wear the old beater.

Been using this belt for about a month now and am extremely satisfied. Use it for Olympic lifts and CrossFit work out that include alot of deadlift. Hardware is plastic which gives me a little doubt of how long it will hold up but haven't had a problem yet. Very comfortable and practical. For the price this hold it's own and was a great buy.

The closure on this makes it difficult to get tight. I had to purchase a different one. However, the quality is good, the closure just didn't work for me.

Hace años iba al gym y recuerdo que compré este mismo cinturón. Lo amaba por su comodidad y soporte. Un día, alguien en el gym me lo robó y siempre quise comprarlo de nuevo, porque de verdad me gustaba mucho. La cosa es que dejé de ir al gym por más de 3 años, por lo que no lo hice. Ahora que regresé lo estuve buscando en varias tiendas y no lo tenían. Me metí aquí a Amazon y por fin dí con él. No estaba en las primeras opciones, pero lo busqué aquí hasta que lo encontré. Ya lo volví a utilizar y la sensación es la misma que la de hace años. Súper contento con este producto. Súper recomendado.

Ma précédente ceinture Valeo avait plus de 25 ans , et fonctionnait encore parfaitement, mais était simplement défraîchie. La nouvelle est bien, mais l'ajustement à la taille, tout en étant efficace est moins pratique.

Cannot believe this was so cheap - and free shipping from the US?! Great quality belt. I ordered a small but would have liked it even smaller, shame they don't sell an XS - I'm a 63kg female so was surprised by the sizing. My teammate has a similar Valeo belt but without the clip fastener, just velcro, and I prefer this version.

I have been using my soft Valeo belt for about 20 years now, so I needed a slightly larger size. The belt protects me from straining my lower back, and it also helps when my back is sore for no reason. I use this belt at least once a week, and the new design is very comfortable.
