All metal frame. They fit very well. Worth the extra cost

Love these glasses for NM sandstorms: comfortable, durable, and polarized. BUT: the flimsy 1 layer cardboard box in the shipping envelope was crushed on one corner which slightly deformed the right shade's upper tab causing it to not adhere to the frame. (see odd angle of tab on left) Tabs on previous glasses were brass, as I recall, and could be reshaped. For now Sandstorms Rule!

For the pair I ordered Pros. Lenses are fantastic and the hooks for around the ears are bendable for snug and secure fit. Side shields are removable. Cons. Side shield leather was tan not green ended up staining them. The clips on the side shields are made from plastic and not a spring steel. Clips were bent and malformed had to take a heat gun and shape them out Took about 15 minutes.

The little side guards constantly pop off and hit your eye. Buy these if you hate your eye balls and want a pair of glasses that snaps you in the side of your face because of shoddy design and poor durability! Non-refundable as well. Save your money!

They fit a little too snug and feel Like they sit at a frontward angle. Having said that I do Like the glasses. When sunglasses cost $200 I become more particular. I’ll wear them out but won’t buy again.

Great fit, keeps front and side light out.

Despite other reviews I love these glasses. I've had several pairs over the years and they last well. I ski and these have survived many spills. They may deform but that's part of the design because the are easy to put back into shape, (not something other metal glasses will do!). The removable side shades do need careful placement to engage them properly but not doing so is user error so just take care. All in all, I'm very happy with these. So happy in fact I returned for different styles.

This is my third pair. The quality control on the leather sides is very bad. On this particular pair, one of the side parts was way too tightly bent, and it broke off, rather, jumped off breaking the small plastic hook as aoon as I pulled the glasses out of the box. On the other two pairs (different color), as well as this pair, the side shields did not fit regardless. The side pieces are identically bent, meaning they only fit the right side. The left side had a right-sided leather piece with the plastic moulded to fit the right side. Not only is this very ugly, but it also leaves a gap on the side. The hooks are under way more tension than they should meaning the left side hooks do break off after a little while. I had my earlier pair for a month before this happened. How can a quality producer overlook something like this? The left side will have an ill-fitting part that sticks up on the fron ugly, and breaks off after some use. Other than that, glasses are great. No slipping on the nose, finally found a pair of glasses that fit me. I am just not going to put this much money on such poor quality side pieces. Julbo agreed to send me a new pair of side parts, but they told me that the side parts should be fitting normally, but said also that thry are both bent the same... On the Amazon site, the different models need more specific information on their pages. I ordered a non-polarized model first even though it said it should have been polarized These particular glasses were polarized. Not sure if this will be visible on all pages though.... please check Julbo's page and match the color to a model with the lens you want.

D'abord, ce sont des lunettes fabriquées en France. Et puis elles sont sacrément cool. Il y a un côté lunettes de soudeur. Acheté d'occasion Amazon Warehouse 80 euros, soit 50 euros que le prix neuf au moment de l'achat.
