Hard: A Motorcycle Club Romance - Book One Kindle Edition

Review based on free copy. This is normally a free work of around 32 pgs and will judged as that. Author is a writer of erotica and uses her stories to pull you into the character so you will follow them into the next book. So how did that work out? For the pages used there was ok character depth and ok plot. I felt the heat was in the warm range but not some of the authors better scenes. Had a rushed feel to me, not the story tempo but the creation of the book.For me there needed to be a little more development from both characters for me to care where their life was heading especially with him being the bosses son and the boss like family. This was stated, but when push comes to shove seemed only a passing thought for both Hero and Heroine and if they didn't really care, why should I?Bottom line, it's a free read written well and not full of mistakes like most free reads. There's enough plot and heat to pass your time. It's just for me I wasn't drawn into the next book and that's where the authors get paid for their time...

"Hard" was a good book while I was waiting for another book to come in from the library. It's very short and fast paced. My only complaint - once the story started to develop a bit and grab my interest, it abruptly stops and you have to purchase the next book. I love these short stories when I'm waiting around for an appointment or another book to come in, I'm not a fan of the serial 20 page stories that you have to keep purchasing for $0.99-$2.99 to get to the end. Just put the books out in a bundle.

I picked this rating because this book had all the elements I look for in a story: a strong female lead character, independent strong male opposite, just enough detail to keep the imagination playing when it comes to sex.I like that the story did not get lost to the sex, and the sex did not get lost in the story. I like that it is a closer-to-life take on how a dominant/submissive relationship should be than is found in most books with that element.The only thing I disliked about this book was that I felt it was too short. I would have liked to get to know the main characters a little more before they met and fell into bed.

I enjoyed reading this story so far. Of course, it is a cliff hanger. Beth is the boss's secretary and has no one and has lead a sheltered life. When she see the boss's son again, who is a bad ass, he shows her a dominant, sexual experience she will never forget. She does not want to proceed any further with the relationship because she does not want her boss to find out. Then her boss invites her to their home for Christmas. Stay tune for book 2!!

This is a typical Lucia Jordan story, but that doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with it. Beth has to look after her boss's son at the Christmas party. She has always had a soft spot for him, but she is surprised at the spark of attraction when they kiss under the mistletoe. Jake arrives at her home and they enjoy a night of sex, but Beth doesn't feel that they should go any further. I have bought the rest of the series.

Read this in bed with my hubby, hoping to have a sexy evening. Instead, we were both laughing so hard at how ridiculous the story is, that we took turns reading to each other for 45 minutes. Then we made dinner and never went back to the book. You know it's going to be bad when the very first sentence names 2 characters by their first and last names.So 5 stars for entertainment value (it was free).1 star for writing ability/talent/skill.

Another typical Lucia Jordan story. Story line okay but not one of her best. Proofreading/editing seem to be a little better in this book but it still needs improvement. The Alpha in this story is a little strange but he provides hot sex, with a touch of BDSM, to the female character. The ending leaves you hanging waiting for the next story in this series.

Not really a book, more like a first chapter of a book. I just got interested in the story and wanted to find out what was going to happen to the two main characters and it ended. Not good! It was the same with the book titled Lick!

You get the whole package when you read Lucia Jordan. Hot, sexy, steamy and a really good story! You get it all!

Hard is a very hot short read.Can't wait for more.
