Perfect Rally Training Book
This book contains everything that an exhibitor needs to know in order to do well in Rally. Very well written and the course maps are wonderful. I have recommended this book to a lot of my exhibitor friends.

Very useful and helpful
Easy to use with the spiral bound spine. Clear text describing the movement with each sign. The book has courses for all levels at the back that are very helpful. I take this book out to our practice area and refer to during our workouts.

Rally Course Book
This is an easy to understand and follow book. I have not done rally in about 15 yrs so this did a great job of refreshing my memory and helped with new signs. A good reference book.

A couple of down sides…
I was pleased to find a book with some new courses; it seems that there are few books with nested courses out there. I have used some of the courses in my classes. There is a good variety of exercises, and the courses are easy enough to set up, and easy enough to change from one level to the next. There are three things I do not like, however:I wish the sign/exercise description pages were in the back instead of the front. It is such a nuisance to have to turn 1/3 of the pages to get to the courses.I wish the book was spiral bound; I would be willing to pay more, in order to have the increased ease of use. When I am setting up a course, it is extremely awkward to hold the signs, number cones, and keep the book open to the right page. I don’t always have help setting up, and a spiral binding would help immensely. Most important, in the very first course, the first exercise is the Figure Eight, no distractions. The author drew a line to show the path of travel, demonstrating how to get to the next sign…but that path of travel goes around the outside of the first cone BEFORE crossing the center line. Every figure eight is done by going between the cones first, looping either cone, then looping the other cone. It is very confusing, especially to novice handlers, to follow the path set on this course. I will be checking with an AKC judge as to the propriety of this, as the exercise description leaves it unclear as to whether the path shown is legal, or whether it would result in a 10 pt deduction for exercise improperly performed….in the meantime, when using this course, I changed the orientation of the start and first exercise so that the figure 8 can be done in the way everyone is taught…

wish it was spiral bound
I thought it was spiral bound as I saw a review where it said it was, I use this book when I instruct as well as practice plus I always have it on the table when I steward at rally trials. My last copy (black cover) was spiral bound and would lay flat on the table. This is a must have book for any rally team and I use it constantly.

Fantastic book!
Excellent book for teaching rally class or practicing. Since courses are nested, it is easy to change from one level to another. Also includes description of each rally sign. Very happy with this book.

Excellent resource
This is a great book. I love all the nested courses that are so easy to change from one level to another. Having the sign numbers all listed at the bottom of the maps made set up super fast and easy
