It works like it says it does. I was in a pinch and needed a folder for my print shop so I took a chance but if you have some time and aren't in a jam buy something a little more legit. Also, at first I though it was used but I think the company that manufacturers these just doesn't give a dang about how they ship these things out.

A great tool and is coming in handy for things I hadn't expected. My original intention was to use it for creasing greeting cards--works like a charm.

Not Professional
This creaser is a copy of the JB USA creaser. I thought I could save save some $$ so I gave it a try. It produced a crease that was wider and not as 'crisp'. Consequently, I had to send it back as it is not good enough if you need to do really nice work. If you are a home artist you might be O.K. with it if you then take extra time to fold each card very carefully by lining up the edges. In other words, if you produce a crease on cardstock, you will have difficulty in just 'blindly' folding along the crease and expect the card to fold exactly. It will be about 3/32" off on average and not necessarily straight (parallel). It will be different for every card even though your settings didn't change and all your cards are cut exactly the same. It doesn't matter if you press the handle all the way down until it touches the surface or put a spacer under the handle for a lighter crease. The squareness of the creasing dies to the paper guide (not the adjustable stop) was also off slightly which didn't help things. The rulers are just thin printed stickers. They were not put down very well as they had bubbles and were skewed. It is good enough to give a rough indication from which you can make fine adjustments to the stop. The JB unit produces a crease that is professional quality and cards fold exactly square and uniform each time. There is a lot less effort to producing pro quality results. The JB unit does however cost twice as much...Bottom line, if you have time and very low (1's-20's) volume once or twice a year, this creaser might work o.k. for you. If you are going to do 300-400 pieces a month, I would recommend bitting the bullet and getting the JB unit.

Ok and does the job.
In person the fit and finish is typical China cheap. Dont count on the adjustable alignment guide to keep things square. The crease is wider than it needs to be.

Disappointed
Was not pleased with this item. The instructions describe it as mainly being used for photo creasing. Amazon description states "desk size." It was not what I expected so I decided to return it. When I decided to give it a chance and try it out, it broke.
