The Meaning of Marriage: A Couple's Devotional: A Year of Daily Devotions

This devotional is so relatable to everyday life, I’m still stuck on day one because there were so many gems from it. This may take my husband and I more than 52 weeks to finish I am dissecting the scripture and the fullness of it. It’s easy to read something and not apply it to your everyday life. This book is a great example of sanctification. I tell everyone I meet want to work out your salvation ? Get married 😂 The Bible will always be number one lol. Overall great book so far - lots of wisdom.

This book has been so amazing and has truly brought God into our marriage even more. My wife and I have had wonderful conversations and break throughs in our communication as we invited God into our life through this book. Highly recommend to every couple.

This devotional takes pieces of the book, The Meaning of Marriage and then delves deeper into the text. It follows with a short discussion and a thought for prayer. Worth the buy so you and your spouse can read together and discuss.

A much needed perspective for people who wants to have a shot at a successful marriage in this day and age.

I read Reason for Marriage and it was one of my all time favorite books! Tim Keller was a brilliant author. My husband does not read at all, but I wanted him to experience the value of this book. The devotional has been short enough for him to stay focused and thought provoking enough for him to contribute to the conversation. Really insightful and thoughtful topics. I love that they don’t just breeze through all different topics but dive really deep into each one and spend multiple days digging deeper and deeper. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have been trying to find a ways to get closer to God. Not only improving our spiritual relationship, but our relationship together as well. We haven’t finished it, but this is one of our favorite pass times together now. We get the kids to bed and read to one another. This is a great tool to use.

It’s grounded in God’s Word and insightful as to what the posture of our hearts and minds should be with regard to marriage. I’d recommend it to anyone wanted to go deeper into this divine covenant.

This is a great book that sparked many important conversations in our marriage and is one we go back to from time to time.

I had high hopes because the book was great and Keller's other devotionals were great. I was a little confused why it only references quotes from the book rather than including references to the actual bible. It might be a great side "reflection" but definitely not substantial as a daily devotionals to be fed by the word.
