I got a weird craving for these in the middle of the night one night. I hadn't seen or thought about them since I was a child, I didn't know what they were called, but I *had* to have one. Turns out we share the same name, so I HAD to buy them then. These are great! A renewed fav.

Growing up in NYC, every corner had a Candy store Soda Shop. Back then Soda was made by mixing Coke or Pepsi with Syrup and Soda Water. NO artificial ingredients were ever added. Candy was sold by the individual piece and Joyva made these candies for five cents each piece.They were a delicious treat then and they still are made the same way today. Unfortunately, they are no longer five cents each but well worth today's price. But them and see for yourself.

Used to buy these in a local store that closed few years ago. So glad Amazon has because they are delicious.
