Great hose. Wry light and easy to handle, coil, or hang. 3/4” diameter hose supports higher volume flow of water. Recommend this highly.

Zero-G is the only hose I use and currently have them in four different locations around my house and garden in 75' and 100' lengths. They are composed of an inner "rubberish" core with a tightly woven covering. When empty, it collapses into a flat "ribbon" - very easy to coil into a hose basket or wrap on a stand. With the water on, it works the same as any rigid hose....you do need a nozzle on the end as the water pressure gives the hose its structure. Without a nozzle you will just have water running out of that flat ribbon. Because of its weight and flexibility, I am able to use much longer hoses. I can hit all areas of my vegetable garden with the 100'. It''s quick and easy to recoil when I'm finished which provides another benefit...no water left in the hose to heat up. The only negative: it is very difficult to repair. I have done it with regular hose repair kits, but it involves cutting the woven cover to reach the inner core and then making sure the woven cover is completely secured. Having said that.....the only reason I have had to "repair" was definitely user error...... I left the hoses attached to faucets/nozzles "forever" and could not remove them. Tried to cut them off to add a new nozzle.... (very time consuming) one worked, but not well. Finally decided to cut my losses, saw off the faucet ends and buy new hoses!!!!! So YES I would highly recommend these, but make sure you remove them from faucets/nozzles periodically.....normal garden maintenance - hmmm.

First of all, all the credit for the sale of this product should go to the advertising/marketing department because they are the winners not the engineers who created it. That is how i got reeled in. First time out of the box and it leaked. Once you have it in your hands and have any type of mechanical knowhow you would question how this will last past a year. Are you buying it for its lightness? If you are, you're giving up durability. I'm sure you're not dragging this across a bed of straw each and every day it will see a driveway or the corner of a foundation or a tree, rock etc. and that cover is NOT ballistic material and the inner hose is about the thickness of a drinking straw. If you are only going to use it once a month it will probably last a year. If you are just into the looks than its a bright green hose (till it gets dirty) is bright To me this is no better than those expanding and contracting hoses which to me are far better than this. With one of those you know what you are getting and its more of a low usage hose vs this one which is going to be your everyday hose? I think not. Other than not liking 95% of this hose the fittings are quite nice for awhile till they start galling. Who uses aluminum fittings these days? only to be cheap. That is why you see 99% of the fittings are brass on a good hose. If you are looking to replace your hose each year then this is probably for you. The leak mine had is a manufacturing issue and can happen in any product so I'm not picking on that as much. Had it not leaked the hose to me is not worth it.

Great hose and I'm happy with the weight and durability. Not fully kink resistant, if you turn water on when rolled up you have to shake it a few times before the water will come out. Without being said it does not kink nearly as bad as a traditional hose and you normally don't need to stop what you're doing to go un kink it

This hose is like a mini fire hose. I am using it at a horse farm to clean and fill water buckets. It is lighter than the heavy-duty rubber hoses and maneuvers better over the lower half of the stalls' Dutch doors. I store it in a clean muck bucket that I drilled holes in the bottom of for water to drain out. It is easy to transport in my muck bucket, and requires little space to store away. The drawback for me is that in order to use it, the water needs to be turned on with enough pressure to completely fill the hose (usually full blast), then you have to make sure the ENTIRE hose is free (in other words, you can't only use a short part of it and leave the rest on a hose reel or in the storage bucket.) Then you must take all the kinks out of the collapsed loops. Once the entire hose is pressurized, then it won't kink up. I had previously used a collapsible hose which is even lighter in weight and shrinks to a shorter length, but it is not as durable in the barn environment, especially with the potential for horses stepping on it.

Purchased this hose after reading and viewing some reviews online and I made the right decision. I see some mixed reviews of the regular hose and the pro hose. This review is of the green pro hose. Purchased it in april of 2019 for daily use in my garder, lawn, and power washer. It has held up just fine. The casing is not fraying, and the connections are not leaking. Note: I did use plumbers tape (tephlon tape) to seal the threads with my quick connect pieces). It is very light weight for a 75 foot hose. So much so, that the 80 year old who lives downstairs has no trouble carrying it when she feels like toiling in the garden. When connected to the pressure washer, it never looses pressure and is highly visible at all times so no one is tripping over the hose while they are working. I do drain and wrap up the hose after each use and store it inside, on a hook off the floor and out of the sun after each use. The only down side to this expandable pro hose is a shut off valve was not attatched to it from the factory. Easy to fix with $6 for a valve from the hardware store, but for $65 they could have included one in the design seeing as most $25-$50 "cheap" hoses come with a shut off valve attached from the factory.

These still kink, not as bad as the rubber hoses, & are much lighter than rubber hoses.

Update: Neither the Seller or Amazon will hunour the manufacturers 90 day warranty. Do Not Buy from Amazon or their Sellers I have arthritis and needed a light weight hose so i could water the plants in pots and planters on my patio. I’ve only used it since early June and i finally realized that its not leaking from the nozzle the hose has a small puncture and its been that way since i bought it! Its past gge return but i’ve asked anyway. Isn’t there a wsrranty is this wuality of hose?

Works like a garden hose is supposed to. Not much else to say about function but construction is terrific.

Leaked like a sieve from both end connections - faulty. My original hose connections work perfectly. Tried new washers but it’s a manufacturer issue with the hose and end connections. Quality control issues. Very disappointing
