Milwaukee 49-22-0130 Contractor's Kit 7 Bit 1-Inch to 2 9/16-Inch Selfeed Drill Bit Assortment
I've had this set of Milwaukee self feed auger bits for several years and have used it a lot. These bits are imported and while I don't think the steel is as good as on my old USA made Milwaukee bits, it seems decent enough for this reasonably priced set. The set has seven bits from 1" to 2-9/16" so covers the sizes needed for 1/2" thru 2" EMT and rigid conduit or black iron pipe. You can also buy additional 3", 3-5/8" and 4-5/8" auger bits separately for 2-1/2", 3" and 4" conduit or pipe. These 7/16" hex shank bits have the Quik-Lok shanks so they can be used with quick change adapters. There are both fine thread and course thread pilot screws included and a 1/8" hex wrench for the pilot retainer hex head screws. The wrench is also used for the 5-1/2" extension couplings hex head screws. The fitted blow molded plastic case is decently made and has a storage compartment with a hinged snap cover to keep the loose pilot screws and hex wrench in. These bits cut fast and will pull them self through a joist when they are sharp. They don't like nails though, but can normally be resharpened with a small flat Mill Bastard file when needed. The bits are best used with a large 1/2" drill, like Milwaukee's Hole Hawg, Super Hawg or the Dewalt DW124 Joist and Stud Drill. Overall, for what I paid for this set here on Amazon, I think it was a good value and would buy again.

Milwaukee 7 bit set
I bought this as an accessory to a new hole-hawg drill I purchased for my plumber son. I have not used it. But as a Milwaukee product I have no doubt it is top-of-line quality.

Pretty Good
Overall this is a great product. They drill really fast and do the job right. I will agree though at times when your drilling through a stud that towards the end, when the spur is past the end and already sticking out of the other side, you do have to put alot of pressure on the bit in order to finish drilling the hole. Compared to what these bits do for me, this minor setback really doesn't bother me at all. These bits will not cut through nails so what I like to do is carry an extra set of bi-metal hole saws to cut out the nail then go back to using these bits because they're alot faster than hole saws.
