Nice but missing some straps
Everything was as expected. Works great. Box was a little roughed up but no big deal. Only reason for 4 stars is that it was missing the tether straps that connect the hand climber to the platform. So I had to order them directly from lone wolf. Overall Iโm happy though because the stand itself is hard to find in stock anywhere at this time. I had a lone wolf sit/climb previously and this was my first time using a hand climber. I love it. I think itโs way faster and less cumbersome. It requires a little more physical dexterity to use the hand climber, so it might be a bit difficult if you are overweight/out of shape. Or if you have never used a climber before. Iโve been using one for over 30 years, so itโs pretty natural and the simplicity of the hand climber also cuts down weight.

Small platform
These are the best climbing tree stands on the market. Strong, never makes any noise that would spook game. When you climb the tree, I have had bucks come to me thinking another deer was rubbing a tree. Only problem with this particular stand the platform is too small. Other models are better and only slightly heavier.

It doesn't get any better
I have tried everything on public land. It doesn't get any better than this for a quality stand that is light weight, compact, easy to use, safe, comfortable, and quick to deploy. This is an expensive stand but you get what you pay for. You need a bungie cord to keep the seat quiet. See online discussions on how to do that. The only downside to this stand is that you might want to buy longer belts so that you have the option to go up larger trees. Shame on Lone Wolf - they got a little too greedy by forcing us to spend extra $ to get these. I will still give it 5 stars because it is a quality stand that is very well engineered. There is nothing else like it. It is the ONLY commercial made stand that works well for me because I walk long distances and my stand always goes with me. I attach my stand (and the rest of my gear) to a good external packpack frame because the shoulder straps that come with it won't cut the mustard.

Great stand
I just tested this stand out to check it before archery season starts in a few weeks. Simply put, awesome stand. I have been hunting for close to twenty years and I have used a lot of climbing stands. This stand from what I have seen does what it says it will do, light weight, easy set up and break down. I have seen some reviews that say it was hard to use the hand climber and the platform is small. I climbed a few feet just to test it and had no problems. But I can see if your not in the best shape how this could be an issue. The platform is small but not much smaller than other platforms on climbers that I have used before it's not a big deal for me. The size of the stand appears to be great for a three to four hour hunt.

A Bow Hunters Dream
I used this stand primarily for archery hunting Whitetail Deer in the rugged hills of southern Ohio, walking 1.5 miles in steep terrain.*ProsYou will hardly notice the stand is on your back, the quality in materials is top of the line. Fast, quiet, easy setup, while traversing and climbing the stand is stable and silent. No more snagging brush and low hanging tree limbs.*ConsGoing from a Summit Viper to a hand climber will take some practice. Unlike the Summit base, the lone wolf base and seat are very constricted with itโs size. If you are out of shape and a larger person this might not be the stand to purchase. If your a hunter that needs to traverse rough terrain at great distances for those hard to reach areas and want a quality built stand, this is the stand to buy, and itโs made in Murica.

but quickly fell in love with it the first time I used it
Coming from a large comfy, sit and climb, I had my reservations about this stand, but quickly fell in love with it the first time I used it. Very light and compact stand. Let's you keep walking deep into the woods (or back to the truck) without having to stop and rest. Very stable platform and seat after the stabilizer straps are cinched tight makes you feel comfortable up in the air. Very grippy platform, doesn't feel like your feet are going to slip off, even when wet. Silent when moving from seat to standing and back and forth. Actually, pretty easy to climb with and you can move up and down the tree quickly. It's all in the climbing technique. Do it right, and it's easy. Do it wrong and it's agonizing.

Great design,easy to use..!
If you are a state land hunter, you need one of these plus a safety harness. The tree stand by itself is great but the harness that comes with it is a junk. It's very light and I carry it all day easily but it doesn't give you planty of room when you're up on the tree. For hunting with a crossbow or gun is fine because you don't move very much but for bow hunting, make sure you're tied up to the tree properly. The other great thing about this tree stant is that it is easy to set up and easy to pack up. I timed myself. It took 10min from unpacking to standing 15feet up the tree and 10min to get back down.

love the fact its so small and compact but its ...
love the fact its so small and compact but its heavier then my big bulky summit. Also get the bigger foot plate. When your 30feet up in a tree and stand up, you feet are hanging off the foot plate. I shoot sitting down now because of the foot plate.
