I purchased these earrings for a special dress event. I had a black pair that were similar, but a bit smaller, that I always loved. I've misplaced them, so was searching for an earring that would look special, but still be conservative. These fit the bill quite nicely. I happened to need a pair and wore these with a more casual outfit. They were so COMFORTABLE! They have the plastic disc and bullet backing, which sometimes pinches and is very constricting. (I tend to have thicker earlobes, so that is an issue for me.) These were so weightless and secure that I had to keep checking to see if they were still there. They always were! I suggest that if you like red, you will like these. The red is a true red, but would work with a darker or ligher red. due to the light refraction of the crystal. I'm pretty confident that you will like these, my fellow earring wearers.

Edit: The earrings were replaced by Pammy. They are beautiful and have worked well for dance competitions! Thank you!I bought these earrings for my daughter for her dance competitions. They worked fine for one competition, but that was all. When she went to put them on the next time, the post came out of one earring when she was taking the back off. Very disappointed.
