This is an adorable box. It's nice and sturdy. I knew it would be smaller, but I was pleasantly surprised at the size and how much this box will actually hold. I was astonished at how well-made this box is, it's much better than I had anticipated. The card inside says it was hand-made and I believe it was. I had originally bought the box to use for a prop in photographs, but now it's going to hold things on my desk. The locking mechanism works like a charm. I purchased the suggested little lock and key. They match perfectly and work well. I'm not sure how well the lock would actually keep anyone out of the box, but I did not buy this box for that so it's not something I am worried about. This box would be a great part for a special gift or a themed gathering. I will definitely be back to buy a bigger one!

I just received the gift keepsake box for my grandson. I think he will be excited to have it. It is a good-looking box and the workmanship seems excellent. Cannot wait until he sees it (soon).

Nice exterior design, looks solid and realistic. The weight is fine, but unless you have something very heavy in it, the lid will make it fall backward when opened. The storage capacity was high enough that I could put a book in the bottom and stack candy on top, which helped keep it from falling over quite as much.

This treasure chest is adorable! I filled it with shark teeth and shells for my grandson! He loves it!

The stain is really nice in person, and the finish gives it that old, vintage look even though it’s brand new. The metal accents and the curved lid make it feel like a little treasure chest. It’s solid, well‑made, and looks great sitting out on a shelf. Definitely worth it if you want something that feels antique without the wear and tear.
