Exactly as I expected, with a few perks
Other reviews will tell you that the bag is reasonably well-padded with the caveat that it is a gig bag, not a case, so you need to use some care when transporting. This is true, and totally what you expect given that it is a gig BAG and not a case. The padding is nice and thick, though, and when combined with the shoulder strap (or, alternately, the really beefy handle) you shouldn't have any problems in normal use. It fit my Makala concert uke just fine and didn't leave undue wiggle room. The pocket is small. You'll fit spare strings and a tuner in there and maybe some music if you fold it in half. You certainly aren't going to fit your copy of The Daily Uke in there. It'd be nice if it were bigger, but this is a uke case, so what can you really ask for?The cool touch that caught me off guard was that there are patches both over the front face of the head (where the tuning pegs stick out and could wear the slick nylon lining pretty quickly) but also over the bridge. Don't know about other ukes but I was mildly concerned that I might burn through gig bags slowly as the sharp corners on my bridge abraded the lining. No worries with this bag.Overall, it's a great cheap bag that I'm really happy to have for my uke. It even arrived several days ahead of the shipping estimate.

it's a good gig bag for the price
I was hoping to get a Kohala gig bag to go with my first uke, a Kohala Tiki Concert Ukulele, but after an extensive search I found nothing. I decided to go with this one since Lanikai is the big brother brand of Kohala. All in all, it's a good gig bag for the price. It's lightly padded and has reinforced patches on the inside where the headstock and saddle are located. The faux leather handle and nylon shoulder strap are a definite plus. My one and only con is that the zippers in the picture have the Hohner logo on them and look plated, however the zippers on the case that was sent to me are black generic zippers. Furthermore, nothing anywhere on the bag indicates that it is a Lanikai or Hohner product. I gave it three stars only for this reason, because who's to say the vendor didn't sell me a generic economy gig bag?

Its a Gig Bag!
And thats about it. This is not a truly outstanding product, but it is a very nice product. It is comfortable to wear, and seems well padded, but in all fairness, it will not protect a ukulele from any serious damage. For that, I would recommend a hard case, as opposed to a cloth bag. For what it is, it is a worthwhile purchase. It has room to store accessories (mine contains a Capo, tuner, and some sheet music) in a pocket which is also padded. I would recommend this to beginners wich inexpensive ukuleles, but if you have a more expensive instrument, it would be worth your time to purchase a hard case to better protect your investment.

Great little gig bags for your concert uke!
We bought two of these bags and are pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. They fit our concert ukes perfectly; snug but not too tight. The amount of padding is just right to protect against light bumps and bangs, including an extra padded spacer where the bottom end of the uke rests if standing upright. The bag feels non-bulky and secure when worn by the shoulder strap. The handle feels sturdy. Main zipper has two pulls for easy access, and the pocket is just right for miscellaneous small accessories. All-in-all, just what we needed.

Great Uke Bag
This bag fits my Kala concert acoustic-electric uke perfectly. It has a convenient pocket on the front for pick/tuner/notepad storage, and the quality of the bag seems very good! I've been using it lightly for a while, and it is still as nice as when I bought it. The padded is excellent, I don't need to worry about accidentally hurting my ukelele by dropping it or knocking it around, which was a relief when I moved crossed country.

Good for the price
I have a cheap ukulele that needed a cheap protective suit/case/bag. I like it so far, it does what it needs to do. Keeps it dry and clean, protects it from drops and bumps.Buy if you need something to keep your old or cheap ukulele from getting damaged.

5 stars because of the low low price.
This is a lot of bag for the money. I actually purchased this concert sized bag for distance traveling with my soprano pineapple on long trips in a small car or on a motorcycle! My idea is to wrap clothes or a towel around the instrument for added protection and packing efficiency. I also needed a lightweight bag with decent metal D-rings because that's how it's secured to the bike. I may spray the bag with waterproofer just for good measure.

Good product
It's a bag you can't really go wrong with it unless the zipper doesn't work well but for this bag it works well. I was hoping it would have been a more solid cased bag though i should of read more into the details.

Disappointing,
Pretty flimsy , only one shoulder strap, you can bend it in half . It is not what I was looking for . Very over priced for what you get.
