Not sure you should boil the tea leaves, but tasty!
I ordered this at Mitsuwa Marketplace and made a pitcher of it. I have no idea why the one star review was here but the tea tasted great so I felt compelled to write another review to offset it. It upsets me that there are two five star reviews and then someone just comes in and writes a lazy one star one line review saying she didn't like the taste. It's Japanese apple green tea, and chances are if you make it wrong it'll taste astringent or otherwise not be as good. You shouldn't punish the brand because you personally didn't like the taste of it. If it was legitimately nasty I understand but this tea isn't bad by any stretch of the imagination.I wasn't comfortable boiling the leaves because they were a nice dark green color. So I tried making it around 180F instead of boiling per the instructions. I steeped it about three minutes because the bag suggested boiling for 1.5-2 if memory serves. So, that was my compromise. But the tea tasted great and all my friends liked it. It also smells a bit like a jolly rancher. Very fragrant. Given the cost and the taste I'd give it five stars easy.
