Horrible chemical smell the plastic was so thin it ripped while trying to put it on the mattress! Ended up throwing it away instead of even trying to return it due to it ripping apart so much

The DMI Twin XL Zip Mattress Cover is shockingly cheap in every possible way. When I say thin, I mean borderline imaginary. This thing feels like it’s made out of the same material as a grocery store produce bag, maybe thinner. Calling it a “mattress cover” is generous. It offers zero protection, zero durability, and zero confidence that it will survive normal human existence. A child rolling over in bed was enough to rip it open. Not jumping. Not roughhousing. Rolling over. If your mattress experiences gravity, this cover is already in danger. The zipper is flimsy, the fabric stretches like wet paper, and once it tears, that’s it, it doesn’t just rip, it gives up on life. There is no waterproofing worth mentioning, no thickness, no reinforcement. It feels like a disposable item that someone accidentally decided to sell as a permanent product. If you’re trying to protect a mattress from spills, accidents, pets, kids, or literally anything more aggressive than a gentle breeze, do not buy this. It’s super cheap in price and somehow even cheaper in quality. You’d be better off wrapping your mattress in a fitted sheet and hoping for the best. This product should not exist, and the fact that it’s marketed for actual use is almost insulting. Final verdict: Thin, fragile, useless. Avoid at all costs.

Appearance is excellent looks expensive but was affordable. Quality is excellent fit perfectly. Did not affect the comfort of the bed.

Perfect fit for an 16” mattress. Super soft and plus. Would buy again for another bed!

I don't have an image but this has saved my life. My daughter has thrown water on my bed and thanks to the water resistance, I have not dirtied my mattress. I love this! It did rip though and it's not easy to put on. If you can't afford a good brand one like me, do this. I bought 3 for all the beds at home.

This is the second one I have purchased and disappointed in both. They tear very easily when putting them on the mattress. I thought I might had done something wrong on the first one and I ordered another one for another bed and again it tore when putting on. I do not recommend this item. I kept them and put white duct tape on them both since I have another bed protector on them both anyways. The material is very thin. If material was not so thin I think this would be a good product.

This product does work. My dog has decided that she wanted to use the bed to get my attention to pea and poo on, and this protector held up. I simply picked it up and then wiped with a disinfectant and it was much better than having to use my Bissell green machine to deep clean the actual mattress. I got the zippered kind because we toss and turn, so the ones that simply cover the bed come right off. I have to use the corner clips to keep my sheets on. Now this is the kind that is not meant to be slept directly on, and it does make a LITTLE ruffling noise under your sheets- but nothing like the old kind that little kids used to sleep on. It isn't noticeable. It is a cheaper protector- I did not expect anything expensive for the price. The zipper is not designed to be used more than the one time to zip up the mattress. I am happy with this product, and you will be too if you need something to simply cover a mattress and NOT sleep directly on. If you want one that you can sleep on like a mattress cover sheet- look at something else.

DO NOT BUY THIS. Dollar store shower curtains are sturdier than this thing. Just trying to put it on a mattress, I poked a hole in it with my finger. I was willing to let it go and just put duck tape on it, assuming I did something wrong. No. It ripped twice more while trying to get the mattress in when I KNOW it wasn’t my fault, and the zipper ripped off entirely when I tried to zip this mangled mess. Don’t waste your time. Honestly, even if it didn’t just fall apart trying to get it on a mattress, the quality is so flimsy that it wouldn’t be worth it even if it stayed in tact.

Unfortunately, this product was extremely disappointing. It ripped immediately while trying to put it on the mattress, before it was even fully in place. The material is very thin plastic and feels flimsy, with a loud, crinkly sound every time it moves. Definitely not durable or good quality. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Lo usé en un colchón individual con colchoneta y le quedó jmuy bien, es un plástico muy delgado por lo que no hay ruidos al usarlo, es mas bien como una tela, pero ccumple perfecto su función de proteger el colchon contra líquidos. Una exelente relación de calidad-precio.

Not the best type of mattress encasement, I have bought other brands where there is a softer fabric material on the outer layer and makes the protector less like using plastic.
