My daughter is 5 years old. She’s a thicker child than my 13 year old daughter but I wouldn’t say she’s fat. She just has wider hips and thighs than my teenager was at this age. I bought the bigger size for my 5 year old. She wanted a mermaid bathing suit. The bathing suit fits her nicely. The mermaid tail goes down to her feet. A little bit long but she pulls it up to her thighs anyways to swim. She loves it! So glad I bought way bigger than what she normally wears.

We love it so much, that we had to order a second one the next size up because my daughter grew out of the first one!This is her absolute most favorite dress-up outfit as well as bathing suit. I think we have one more size to order before we "sizes out". Thank you for helping make some AMAZING memories for my family and my own little mermaid.In terms of wear etc. We wash the suit constantly. I can tell that the green metallic portion of the bottoms does fade over time, but it's green metallic....I don't expect it to be perfect, nor does it impact my daughter's love of the outfit. An excellent choice overall.

I purchased this for my daughter as she really wanted a mermaid tail. I purchased this for my 7yo, and although she loved it, it was borderline too small for her. I purchased the next size up, but it still wasn't enough. We still kept it, but I wish I had bought it even bigger.

This is the cutest little mermaid outfit ever. Can’t believe the price for the quality you get! One thing to mention is that you must size up! My 3 year old weighs 27 lbs and wears a 3t and I bought the 4-5 yr and it fits perfectly. Definitely recommend!

Fit was a little snug. But was most disappointed about the top had black stains all over it. Figured out they were from the black lining of the scales on the bottoms. Was able to treat and was the majority of the stain out but could not get it out of the light color on the sleeves.

CHEAP. Color came off the tail and bottom after two wears. The material also irritated my daughter skin and caused a rash. This would not be good for anything other than pickers where you stay dry.

It's super cute my daughter loves it, she's alwaywearing it around the house.

The pattern & material are good. The sizing is 2-3 sizes TOO SMALL!!! Beware & order sizes up!!
