A Real Lifesaver!
I live in an historical area that is subject to lots of random power outages because all the power lines run through giant oak trees. A light storm and BLINK....you're out of power until they can fix it. That could be an hour, more or less. With the APC backup battery.....i have enough time to often finish what I'm in the middle of, save to an external drive and then shut down my computer safely AND all without the risk of power surges. This is my third one since Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and I can honestly say that over time, they were WELL worth the expense.

Works as advertised
Reliable, with good product history. Directions say do not use with laser printers and other devices that draw power intermittently all the time and especially at start up. Can damage the unit and/or the peripheral.

Dont buy
The unit only lasted 5 months. Then I had all kinds of problems with it. Waiting right now to see if it will be replaced under warranty. Recommend you choose another brand.

Works like a charm
UPS was delivered quickly and was as described I have not had issues with performance in power outages and power fluctuations I had a good deal of difficulty with effect on network connections during power outages of fluctuations.

The APC battery backup system works great. I have used several of these units for several years.

Solid product protecting PC
I’ve had several over the years. In the event of a power failure it gives you time to log off and turn off computer without having a cold shutdown. Also helps with power surges.
